So breaks at 18- and 12-box, with - at a guess - one at the squashdown too. This is actually much more natural pacing than the normal format, and (combined with four- and three-box offers) is the way I'd like to see a regular 60-minute edition run, if you must have a 22-box game in an hour (and our show is better than others at making that sort of pace work).

Does look like the last break will be just around the 5 box stage now.

Noel says that's a big uplift from £90. Bodie says it's a good offer but he's got his eyes set on the 2 big values.

Bodie says NO DEAL

In a way, they have been advertising the three one hour specials as one promo but with the tagline "starting Christmas Eve".

Noel says that's a very interesting offer, and tells Bodie to think about it as this is a 1-box game now. Abbie says she'd hate to see him win a blue and Tina says he still has the nifty fifty.

Bodie says NO DEAL

£3k and Noel is pointing out the vulnerability of the board. Not going with the Santa/Scrooge twist but Bodie is.

So this is the reason for the two Santas and one Scrooge; To have 4 and 3-box offers for the hour-long shows. But it looks as though it might be irrelevant this time, with just the £50k left in play...

... well, he is pulling it back. Good to see the clips of past shows, though with 25 minutes to go and just 6 boxes, I hope it's not too much filler.

Noel reminds us that Bodie said he hasn't had any big reds lately. The banker phones and says normally, this board would be terrifying, but if Bodie finds a SANTA, then he'll get a massive advantage.

Santa vs Scrooge 2009 Gameplay:

If a player gets to 5-box, they can open a mince pie, a carrot or a bottle of sherry. There's 1 Scrooge and 2 Santas. If they reveal SANTA, they get an offer after every box and win a holiday for 2. If they find SCROOGE, then the banker looks in their box, their is no offer after every box but a SWAP at 2-box is guaranteed.

Bodie chooses SHERRY and it contains SANTA :D :smt114

The MINCE PIES contain SCROOGE

The CARROTS contain the other SANTA
