Freddie asks if he can have a word with the Banker, and then has to swap ears to his better ear He says that his wife said he had to be nice to the Banker, but can't repeat what he said to her Freddie hangs up and says he didn't say what he was offering and he might ring back Freddie tells Noel he still has his eye on the bottom red.

The Banker says he is going to be honest now and tell Freddie the contents of his box, he doesn't want Freddie to win the contents of it.

The banker could be being nice and not wanting Freddie to win a blue. I think I'd deal here using my usual tactic of ignoring the fact the banker knows what's in the box.

Now that's very clever. It's an amount the Banker "doesn't want him to win". That could be a red or a blue.

Noel says the key thing is what did the Banker mean by him not wanting Freddie to win the contents of the box. Freddie asks his granddaughter to join him at the pound table. The Banker calls and asks to speak to Freddie's granddaughter, and tells her Freddie has the £75,000. Freddie asks her what she would do and she tells him she would gamble.
