And no complaints about the Banker's Random act of Kindness today? Either Matt was really liked or there's a more forgiving mood on this forum these days.
(several hundred contestants - blue)
Emma - £50
Rachel - 17p
Olivia - 1p.
Matt - £50 + a laptop
Any particular reason Matt should be rewarded with a consolation prize when hundreds of others weren't given one who had equally bad results?
Of course there isn't.
No, but the point is that they're random, or if not random then slightly unexpected. The banker likes to be capricous and occasionally be magnaminous in victory. The last thing anyone who goes on this game can expect, or be entitled to, is consistency. There are no guarantees as to what offers you will get on a particular board, whether you'll get a bankers gamble, whether a brave no deal will be rewarded or in this instance whether you'll get a consolation prize. It's that unpredicatability that is one of the game's attractions.
