The extra £50,000 is having a big impact here says Noel... Lisa tells Dirk that he knows what to do as there is still a lot of money on the board...

Dirk says

NO DEAL

That's close to a deal for me. Just a little bit too short for the board. I'm doing one more round hoping to dodge the £250,000.

The £200,000 gap here makes that tempting. The likely eight-box generosity makes it right to No Deal.

Round 4

7 - £50,000 James

There is still one left says Dirk

Rachael next but Noel warns Dirk that she has had a big run of blues!

16 - £250 Rachael

Dirk picks Ollie next, but Noel calls a break, and he will reveal which box has had the £250,000 the most...

Called it. Was it Linda de Mol or was it a male host on a gaudy set? If the latter, that's their really inferior daytime version.

Caught the inferior dutch version whilst depressing myself watching Scotland in Amsterdam at the weekend. It was all quite cheerful with lots of clapping and background music to accompany the box openings.

Noel's giving this stats as Dirk has chosen box 2, which has had the £250,000 most times - it's had it 61 times.

Is that boxes that have gone to the table or remained in the wings with 250k in it?

Indeed. The generousity of recent offers (probably due to us being so close to 1000) has me happy to go on here. Even if we do take the £250,000 we might get a generous lifeline offer.

If we get to 8box with the £250,000 though I'm probably taking a good offer.

I'm assuming it's overall, rather than just on the table (which would mean a different answer to the one I gave above).

This is looking quite good if he keeps the Golden £50k, £35k and the biggie :D

Regular board with visual anomaly now that the regular £50k has gone. Take out something outside the Power 5 and it's time to think of what you're going to do with £20,000.

Noel reveals that box 2 has had the £250,000 more than any other box in the game! Dirk sticks with box 2 though...

This is now getting dangerous says Dirk... That is amazing that the 2 £50,000s went in the same round, the Banker calls and says that it was hilarious!

Banker's offer:

£9,999

Both occasions where the gold amount has been a normal box amount, the two have gone in the same round.

With the £250,000 now clearly isolated, this offer is going to be decisive. I expect one that would take me out. It doesn't arrive, and Dirk is quite right to play on.

Joke offer.

No choice but to continue. If I get offered £17,500+ here I'd be dealing.
