Well, regardless, that would have been my deal point with not a regret in the world.

She means its was a pretty bad offer.

I'd have dealt £9,000 in an instant.

What are your reasons for, at that point in the game, dealing the £9,000?

Well, it looked like a decent offer, even if it was a bit low for the board. Sometimes you can't or don't get the large offers you want or need, so you have to deal when the offer seems good enough.

That good enough for ya?

He, actually...

And yes. I think the board was worth five figures at least.

Sorry about that.
Yes, the board was worth 5-figures.

It's just that it's not a very good offer. The average is £18,000, so he's only offering half of that. On a stable board such as we have there the offer should be slightly higher. Barring the nightmare round (which we unfortantly got) we can expect the next offer to be either roughly the same or better.

Whatever, dude. I'm useless with math, averages, and whatnot. I deal when I think it's right to do so. I'm sure many other people do or have done the same thing. Plus, you can do a lot with 9 large, right?

God, I feel so sorry for David in that, the fourth round offer practically went like this in the final edit:

Noel: The offer's £9,000.
David: I would No Deal.
Cheri: No Deal!

...and then she takes out every remaining red in succession. Obviously it was her decision too but if I were in that situation I wouldn't be able to help feeling a bit guilty! It was just tremendous bad luck in the end.

Amazing really that after that record run of red wins we're now getting all these blue ones, hope the luck turns round soon!

Wouldn't regard it as that stable. There were four low blues against four reasonable reds.

Worth playing I agree but it was fairly adventurous.

I thought this was only the 4th blue win since then? Mind you it was such a long run it probably feels a lot worse than it is!

It doesn't matter about runs though ay? Blue wins like today's and Colin's are awful!

I reffered to it as stable on the basis that the reds present were close in value. There's nothing there that's going to alter the mean too much. Eg, add the £250,000 to that and it's suddenly quite unstable, as the 250k would drag the offer up a lot, but removing it would send it crashing down. On the board in this game, the average won't be affected by a great deal unless there's a particulary good or bad round.

No? Come now, we need some big wins! I feel bad for those win win blues. Hopefully, the luck will return tomorrow.

Yes, please do.

Cheri was a lovely woman and it was such a shame to see her crash to a blue.

I loved Dirk's box opening when Noel did an impression of Dirk and he just totally ignored him and said it "had been nice knowing Cheri and [her] husband", and just opened his box.

I think the other good moment (even though in gameterms it was awful), was when Linz dropped the lid on her box, but half the studio had already seen the flash of red, and Noel of all people felt awful about it...
