£10k is about right. Not a joke but not an instant deal.

£10,000 is borderline acceptable...Sarah really needs to not lose sight of that money, especially if there's only £500 on the table...

I'd go for it

I think I'd reluctantly deal this.

Sarah says

Well let's hope the £35,000 isn't on the table for the second Sunday on the trot...

Fair enough deal, think I'd have gone for it with the fact that it was £500 there rather than a "peanuts" blue.

Box 5 with Chris contains the £500

Noel reveals that Sarah wrote £20,000 as her target in the book!

Bugger!

Ah well - it's still another £10,000 to add to the weekly payout!

Good game today! Wasn't hard to get into at all, and at least she still managed to get a reasonable amount out of the game! Too bad the £20,000 wasn't taken (both in hindsight, and the revelation of her target), but at that point the board was too good to walk away from

Well, still decent money I guess even though she could have had more earlier and by opening her box... we'll have to wait until the next £250k winner to break the best week record, just a shame it started with two blues so had a lot of work to do to catch up!

And I can't believe Daniel's replacement has played already...

I missed this game, what a let down at 5-box and I thought she was gonna play to the end :(

We know The Banker mostly punish those who remove the big one, so I'm not surprised and she did knock out 2 X Power 5. The board at 8-box was basically 50/50 but it was down to keeping the £250K come the final 5, otherwise the offer wouldn't been £20K or more.

Sarah is right though, you can have certain targets but when you're sat on that high chair the board configuration will draw you in.

That felt horrendously unlucky even though it was a still a decent amount to leave with - that often is the case with deals that are both too late and too early! Even the final box selection would have made a huge difference!

I was pleased she didn't take the £20,000 even though she seemed to be reluctant to, the board at that point warranted more!

Yes, always feels a bit OPL-ish when that happens, even if there is a lower offer than what the contestant won (which in this case wasn't worth considering so hardly counts really).

I was waiting for that to turn into a blue win and calling it a self-inflicted, not-true-to-self trainwreck. And I'm sure she will still have regrets over the eight-box decision and wouldn't have made it 24 hours (in studio time) earlier. But it was mathematically sound, as was the Deal.

I agree that she felt pressured to go on but the board warranted an offer in the high twenties and was relatively stable anyway.
I assumed her target was 20K, shame she didn't take the final gamble but a 35k win would have fallen several grand short of the highest payout week anyway.
