Life-changing money no matter what and that's the best 'mistake' in DoND history.

Actually come to think of it there was another where-the-*beep*-did-that-come-from ND in July 2007 that left this very finish!

No one can believe the outcome and everyone is in total shock! The Banker says that was the most expensive slip of the tongue he has ever had!

Banker's offer:

£60,000

£60,000?

Only £2,500 short, but because I'm £50k guaranteed, I would go for it

Actually, now I think, no it wasn't - Jennifer meant to take her £52k!!

Mary says she is a great believer in fate, and Noel replies that everyone knows that now

Mary asks if the Banker has enough courage to offer the SWAP now, as 5 is her lucky number :P

The Banker calls and Noel asks him SWAP or NO SWAP :P

Banker offers the SWAP

Noel asks the question for £60,000

Mary says

NO DEAL

Noel does the SWAP

Again the right decision but it doesn't much matter now.

Correct decision, but out of nowhere! What caused it? An accident, or Noel influencing her?

It was an accident. Given you weren't watching, Noel stated that he has to abide by the rules and have to accept their first response to the question. However, The Banker saw otherwise and requested to give the question a second time.

Noel runs through how we have got to this position :P

Mary now has box 5 and Noel opens it to reveal £75,000 :D

Box 11 with Walter contains the £50,000

Noel asks Mary for a little information on how she wants to help her children, and she says that one of them has been really ill for 4 years, and she would love to be able to give him a cheque to help him out, and now she can :D

Ah, fair enough. Thanks for that! I shall have to see it myself. I heard the 'prepare for a shock' bit and read it as Noel saying a Deal would be a 'shock' therefore 'wrong'... but who cares how she did it?!?

Just imagine if they'd stuck with the rules and she had wiped them out, there would have been tears all round

But instead we have another member of the 75k club

Well done Mary and early contender for Game of the Month if not the year

Seems like January always seems to churn out the best players, Laura and Clive the best examples

That was such a lovely game, I found myself chanting Blue, Crossing my fingers and even shouting out and jumping up and down... it's like going in a time machine to about 2 years ago haha.

Fully deserved every penny she has just won, Fate really was on her side.

...

Best game of Deal or No Deal I've seen for two years! No question! Up there with the Chris B's and the Bunney's! Couldn't believe that final five No Deal and how it panned out!

Well done Mary, incredible!

How apt the 3rd highest amount that can be won was won with 2 days to go before the 2nd anniversary of his worst nightmare coming true when Laura (or she who must not be mentioned to him) wiped him out

Here's to hoping we don't see a major crash in games from tomorrow like what followed when Laura wiped him out

Richie, I think you'll find there weren't many such crashes after Laura's game... a couple immediately with Craig and Don but it was mostly epic win after epic win!
