No he wasn't - but he was at five-box!

Well these shows were recorded late enough to now know they're on Sundays now...

Apart from the sob story at the start, that was a great show. I wasn't sure if Mark was a genuine gambler or someone that the banker would see straight through, but I guess the fact that he managed to get the third offer doubled, no dealt that then also no-dealt a fairly generous 12k, he managed to scare the banker into giving him a huge offer at 24k, so I'll put him down as a sensible gambler who knew when it would have been reckless to go on. What he did at least make clear to the banker is that he obviously wasn't going to take an offer like 10k - 15k at 5-box due to the 12k no-deal, which some others would have taken. (Even thouh he scraed me to death by makingg out he was going to no-deal the 24k!!) :)

Fantastic OPW and very well deserved!

Oh and the newbie Walter seems like a legend after just one game! :D

Yes, that's exactly how you play the game :D !

Mark gets the first OPW of 2009, which means that box 23 has this to say:

Congrats to a fellow Mark on a game well played! Enjoy every penny of that £24,000 :D !

Great result there, I was half expecting Mark to go all the way but in the end he got out just in time, Textbook deal really. Very satisfying.

Enjoyable game
