The length of the programme got me thinking about what the outcome was going to be when it got to the final two boxes. It's not been an hour or so long for a while on a Saturday now.

But I have to admire Morris. Said he'd play to the end and did. I wish more players would be like him and come to play the game. I feel too many come with the sole aim to pay off their mortgage!

Two excellent games in a week though! :D

I really thought, when the third break was announced, that it was a sign Morris had the big money... and also knowing that it was a very long show.

Gutted for him that he didn't win the biggie, but £20K is a nice sum of money, especially if he is saving up for his wedding.

My aunt had never seen DOND before tonight - I think this was the perfect show to start a lifetime's addiction!

I think there are more of them coming to "play the game" now. Early on, very few players were going on to the end, and most of those that did were just forced into it by very bad games.

There's no doubt that poorer offers have contributed to more players taking their box, but we're now seeing some great games with people prepared to take a big gamble like Morris, Gaz and Hilary have done recently. A player like this will get the big prize sooner or later, who knows if it's already been filmed?

I very nearly passed out at that point. Oh my.

Trust me to be out for that game! Thank God I taped it! And at least I could fast-forward the adverts.....towards the end I just wanted to fast-forward to see what was in the box, but I managed not to!

Anyway, absolutely amazing game. I'd have taken the £101,000 but still regretted it even if I had £20,000 as I'd have felt like a total wimp! So Morris should still be pretty damn proud even if he didn't win the big one. (And don't be silly Noel, of course they shouldn't have swapped. What fool would swap and risk actually giving away the top prize???)

Todays show was fantastic. I was cheering so loudly all the way through. I really did hope that he had the big un, and was gutted for him.
I will miss him on the show.

It really made me cringe when he turned down all that money. I was sitting there thinking how much that money would mean to me, and how anyone could turn it down is something beyond me.

Nevertheless the lad stuck to his guns and played it through to the end, which showed more courage than I could ever have! Part of me says, OK, you're there at the end, you could go down in history as being the first £250K winner, so I completely understand what he was doing, and fair play to him!! He took the chance. I think you'd be just as gutted to have dealt at £100,000 to find £250K in your box, I think you would regret that more.

One of the most emotionally inspiring shows I've ever seen!! Well done Morris on your win, very VERY well played :)

You seemed such a nice guy, would you have taken the gamble with a blue / low red left?

Nice one Morris - you played a blinding game mate, one of the best ever without a doubt. Loved all the rhymes. Good to hear you're in the Star today, I'll go and buy a copy. Hope you're enjoying your winnings.

People like you deserve to be famous.

What a game yesterday's was. I really thought the 250k was in there and was gutted when it was the 20k. Fair play to him though, he played to the end and it was far easier to take the money instead of playing on.

Well done Morris, you seem such a happy guy and I would have loved to see you "be the first" - you're a DonD legend for sure.

Hope the money has served you well, all the best

Well done Morris, even though it wasn't the best result, £20,000 is still a lot of money to leave with....Full credit for taking the gamble and going on after being offered that amount.

It takes a lot and I know I would have certainly dealt at £101,000.

But taking it was the easy way out and I'm sure the sense of atmosphere there created the feeling it was going to happen especially after Gaz's show.

So well done, May has already provided some great shows.

And in honour of you, Morris:

Farewell then Morris
It has to be said
Your game was less blue
And more about red

You handled the game
With bravery and skill
To handle the banker
And break his own will

The viewing on TV
Was exciting far none
Especially as Noel added
Three noughts to one hundred and one

The game was so gripping
What was in box sixteen
Was our first jackpot winner
About to be seen?

Alas, it was 20k
No justice, not fair
It's sad to say Morris
Was not the first quarter of a millionaire

You are certainly in Deal or No Deal? folklore from now on!

Great game

Ian

You really did have some fun
The £250,000 you should have won
When opening your box after declining 101.
250K should have been in your box
Boy oh boy is Sarah a fox!

yes it did appear to be edited in! When Noel said they were going to a break, and when he came back from the break, he was simply in front of the game board as it stood then. no contestants or morris were in shot. then cut to the recording with noel telling morris the offer. same happened with jim, sam and marcus...

anyway, GREAT game...bet the producers are thrilled they chose morris as saturday night material! i kinda knew morris wouldn't win the biggie, but then i remembered it was 65 minutes and i thought...'maybe that's the reason it's extended...he wins it!' alas no...
