Awwww, Pat - it was a great game, and your personality's excellent - just a shame about the end result (though I'll take a grand over a kick in the backside anyday :D )

Cheers

Michael

She should have got more. I think it's cursed that the longer you've been on the show, the less money you will win. Is this true, or have I just made it up.

Don't forget that she could have opted to deal for £17,500 but chose not to. Maybe the longer you've been on the show, the more likely you are to go all the way to the end like Lucy and Pat did. Then again, maybe not. :-)

That's a good point...you probably feel more like you "deserve" a big win after being there so long, and therefore go all the way to the end chasing the big amounts. I think that was certainly the case with Lucy (and I don't blame her at all).

Today was also one of the few cases where the show would not have been any worse for a third-offer deal.

We would still have had a hugely entertaining "third half" particularly if Pat had opened the boxes in the same order and beaten the Banker!

I didnt breathe during todays show, talk about emotional. Pat is my fave. I cried when she cried being picked, then cried laughing with her at the beginning. I wish she had a got a lot more, and am going to miss her loads and loads.
:smt089 No more pat on our screens.

Todays show with pat was the best yet. It will take a lot of beating but as a member of the fan club I am biased. Can we stay as fan club members now that she has gone? In a while I suppose people will be saying Pat m who is pat m? But I will never forget her. Hope she enjoys spending the £1000 - should have been more!

Fantastic game and so sad to see Pat going.

Wish she had taken more money but £1000 is better than some have gone with
