Great game for Francesca - loved the energy she put into it! And £20,000 is a great result!

That was great!! I really liked Francesca, just disappointed that she played so early - second earliest after Garvan, I think. But still, she played the perfect game! Courtesy of a amazingy generous offer, but still.

I was a bit annoyed with Noel having a go at Lofty and dragging him out...I thought it put pressure on Francesca not to deal, and was really worried that would turn out to be her highest offer. As it was, she only got £3,000 more so Lofty's advice wasn't that bad!

Well I never knew Francesca existed until today.

She had a really nice, bubby personality and I think her energy certainly influenced her to win more. Great game but not as tense as others have been.

Pat had a starring role though today didn't she? I thought Noel's hands looked really old.

Excellent show today- I really enjoyed it! :-D

A 'roller-coaster ride' would be an accurate description of it too; it was exciting from start to finish!

Well done Francesca! And well done Tom for not knocking the box off again!

:-D

Haha - I'd say the same!

You wait till you get a girl with curls on there - curly = trouble.

Hehehehe....I'd give the banker a run for his money.

hahahaha, rhian did a pun.....

*skulks off*

A good result but perhaps not one of the most tense games. Also the fact Francesca hadn't been there that long meant she was a bit of an unknown on the show, so perhaps not one of the most memorable contestants. She was very enthusiastic though!

Wow she wasn't there for long was she. :-D I didn't notice her that much when she was opening boxes but as soon as she got to the chair, I knew she's was one of those mad contestants you get every now and then. The perfect game and the right deal at the right time! Welldone to her.

Good to see Tom's box on the panel and not on the floor! But will he stike again? :? :-D

Do you think they made the decision to show the box incident a long time after filming? In that case, it won't be mentioned which is a shame.

I have this enduring mental image of Tom flailing his arms around like a wild thing whenver the camera's not on him - I hope that's what happens, I really do.

Well done Francesca - she played the game amazingly well, right deal and beat the banker! What a legend.

I think that will be the case. I don't expect it ever to be mentioned again, to be honest.

Agree with a lot of you, that was a good game.

Pretty tense at times.

What a beautiful accent she had.

Great game - right deal at the right time :)
I did think Francesca was going to carry on at £20k, but I was almost screaming "DEAL" at the telly :-D

Cheers

I'm sure Tom wouldn't want it constantly mentioned, don't know what kind of a character he is or how well he handled the whole incident, but will be interesting to see whether he keeps a low profile on future shows and what the atmosphere of his game is like when he gets to play.

Argh I'm the only person who didn't think it was tense. Maybe that's coz I was doing the washing up at the same time. I love doing cleaning and watching Deal or No Deal.

And she did have a lovely accent, one of those you can't place. Really cool and unusual.

Just stopped that Wikipedia records Tom's original box to have £100,000.

I don't know whether anyone else has noticed this or not, but have they added pieces of wood in front of the boxes? I don't know if they've just been added on after the events of Saturday or where there before!

They were there before. :-)

When Noel announced her name I was like "who is that???". Great game though and fantastic to have a real lively contestant! Pat must be soon surely.....is she trying to break Lucy's record :-D
