Brian's game today.

Noel talks about how this has been an extraordinary week so far, and how the contestants have really related to certain numbers in their games, but it hasn't brought them the luck they had hoped... Noel says it looks like it could be better to choose a number that doesn't mean anything to them...

Well he has only had 7 blues, last 3 games all blue which is good.

Been a while since a player has had that amount of blues.

Brian "The Beast" has box 19 today... The banker's favourite has arrived now says Noel, and he talks about all the big reds that Brian has had while on the wings...

Brian has his wife in the audience for support today... Brian used to work in his local mine and shows Noel that he lost a finger while working there...
Brian then tells Noel about his army career, and then how he became a milkman...

Brian's wife tells Noel how they met on a bus, and we then get to see a good luck card that is from all his grandchildren. Brian tells Noel that he really must win the £250,000 as he has promised his 6 grandchildren £1 each :lol:

Noel says it's a very good opening round, and tells the banker that he is slightly nervous today. The banker says that he doesn't realise how entertaining it is for him to watch people's dreams fade away in front of them, and he likes Brian as he has helped destroy so many of those dreams!

It's always the way that players who have big values whilst on the wings end up winning low in their game - e.g. Stevie (1).

Let's hope the Beast of the East (aka The Essex Beast although he's not even from Essex) can do well...
