Hmm? :| Do they not like being called that? It's easier than saying digital spy but makes more sense than DSF.

How come? Message board rivalry is a bit silly.

Hi Guys,

Just come over from the Digispy forums ;p

I've been an avid fan of this show since my mum introduced it to me about two weeks ago now, but this incident just doesn't ring quite true with me - about the fairness/odds and all.

Incase you want a permanent record i've posted the 2min30 clip on my website:

http://www.idylla.co.uk/dond-massimo.avi

Its in XVID format with MP3 audio, best viewed at 50% zoom since I encoded it a bit big  :)

Have fun until my bandwidth runs out.

Dave.

The majority who post over on DS are actual DOND fans. Don't tar everyone with the same brush because of one or two numpties. Besides, the C4 forum is much much worse for personal insults.

How on earth could a box be knocked over a plinth of wood and the tag come off?

I wish they'd caught the box coming off on camera.

Agree with lots of you that it was great they didn't edit it.

Poor Mass, I reckon it must have knocked his confidence.

It was a horrible thing to happen to Massimo, and also to Tom. I think it was handled okay though, although I'd definitely have liked to have seen the remaining boxes allocated to the remaining players randomly after the incident, as well as the amounts being shuffled. That way it would have been clear that amounts were not being allocated to specific players. The players seemed to have the same numbered boxes both before and after the incident.

Maybe the producers did give Massimo the option of starting again from scratch, but after that start would you want to start again? I know I wouldn't.

just going back to the topic of the game:

I think Massimo did well, I think the box thing might have shook him up a little as he seemed nervous throughout. His game wasn't the most entertaining I've ever seen, apart from the scandalous incident of course!! However, he seemed like a really nice bloke, and like all contestants who I like, I think he deserved more.

But HOW exactly did the tag come off the box? Surely those boxes should be sealed more tightly. It could happen again you never know.

That's whay I questioned. And how did it fall 'over' the wood across the table?

Maybe I'm a being a bit overly suspicious, but there's something not right about it. I'd like to think the boxes were really well sealed, but it is only a bit of paper isn't it. :?

It's sticky tape and quite tough. I got hold of a blue one when I went down there once.

You even see the contestants struggle to remove it sometimes don't you.

I was very suspicious about it and thought the guy did it deliberately for whatever reason.

Well, it has to be reasonably easy to remove. We don't really want to see people wrestling with the seal for minutes every time a box is chosen. But I am surprised that a fall like that would have caused it to unstick.
