Maybe, but it would have been the closest to the average he'd ever offered? I would have expected around 15-17k

Phew, that game turned out far better than I imagined after the whole "run of bad games" thing.

Congratulations Richard. Had an awful feeling you were going to have the £35k or £75k towards the end but all came out well in the end!!
You did Yorkshire proud, lad!
Enjoy the £13 grand!

I thought we were back in deckchair land again!!  :-D

It was better than yesterday's effort though. That was truly ghastly!

Shame he didn't go on for another round but £13,000 is a nice sum of money for him and his daughter.

Well done Richard, a job well done! Enjoy the money, you played the game great and it was a pleasure to watch - you really deserved it.

And I liked the man hug with Dave at the end :-D (just had to get that in there, didn't I...honestly, the youth of today)

All the best Rich - your DOND legacy will live on

Well, yes! I suppose we were in deckchair land again  but it was just such a relief from yesterdays horrific effort that my immediate thought was Wow Noel... great shirt!

Well done again Richard! Hope you've started a run of great games now :-D

Richard well done mate in winning £13,000, nearly 3 times more than the previous 3 contestants put together! I liked your style, the show was entertaining, and I thought you dealt at a sensible time in terms of the offer and the board at that stage. I can't help wondering when you took out the £250,000 did you think you might end up regretting turning down the £12,000 like Dot? Round 4 was crucial, and I'm glad it went your way.

Does anyone know who won the viewers prize today?

I managed to get 4 entries through but my recording of the programme was incomplete due to my cable tv freezing.

Thank you in advance.

Kevin.

Gutted that I missed this show :(
I was looking forward to it too !! Glad that he went away with a very decent amount :-D hope you're enjoying it Rich !!

I don't know what the atmosphere was like - but I think the banker's proveout deal was slightly inflated - I would have said maybe £18k ?? I don't know though, I can't guesstimate unless I see it !!

Glad it wasn't a total car-crash like preious games though !!

Well done Richard! Enjoy your winnings! Buy a Leeds season ticket or something - they'll be on the cheap at the moment won't they?! ;)

Seriously though, very well done. Another fantastic contestant and a credit to the show.
