(edit - Courtesy of NeverWrong - Patrick - 20 - £35,000)

I think I'll get the sack.

:( "If it's possible for television to be painful this is agony" Noel said. I have to agree with him. But at least Dot has done a lot better than others, and thank God the £1 was in her box, and she's claiming the victory over the banker! :D

What a game!

I really thought that was going to go even more horribly wrong than it did, but at least Dot got a nice, decent sum of money- more than a lot of others have gone away with!

Well done, Dot! :-D :-D

Another hideous shirt from Mr Noel again today!

:D

Noel was right, that was agony... again

At least Dot went away with £3,100 but sooo emotional.

I hoped today would be the turnaround

Shame that she dealt one round too soon but consdering the board at that time, it was sensible to deal. Awww she really was a lovely lady! I wanted her to do really well, still £3,100 is better than a kick up the backside! :-D

The most painful episode since... well, 1p Trevor's, I think.

Utterly ghastly.

Winnings from the last four shows:

Player: £5,100.01
LTL: £16,500

Doesn't that just tell the tale?

Three of the last four games have shown that a player doesn't have to leave with less than £100 for it to be painful viewing. In fact Dave's 1p game was perhaps the least painful of the four because of the fact that he showed little emotion and just took it quite calmly as his game never got going.

In the same way it's not always the biggest wins that provide the happiest endings either I suppose!

And because it was such a ghastly game as to be borderline hysterical. I was praying for him to hit the fiver at the end...

Poor Dot, she seemed pretty cool :)

I'm sure we're due a decent game now. Too many bad games, and it was just a bit of bad luck for Dot.

poor dot. she seems like a really nice genuine lady. i hoped she would go away with a large amount. think she dealt 1 round too early. saying that she went away with £3,100 so its better than the 1p.
good luck for the future, dot. :smt038

I didn't enjoy watching the end of today's DonD at all, poor Dot!! With such modest hopes for enough for a new car I thought she'd achieve them but the luck wasn't with her. Still £3,100 better than the amount in her box I suppose!
First one I've seen too this week, though by the sounds of it, the others weren't too great either! (Thanks to all the guys and gals who post the details for people like me)
Let's hope for a different result tomorrow!
