Ben's game today.

£250,000 and a coffin up for grabs this week :shock:

In a Halloween themed Dream Factory today...

The Banker's coffin is standing in the corner of the Dream Factory, and it's a very quick contestant selection today...

Countdown is now starting at 3:25 and it seems to now finish at 4:10 to allow 5 minutes of adverts before DOND - I suppose they've realised that it would be a good time to put adverts on because lots of people will be watching waiting for DOND to start!

Anyway, this is quite good so far... the boxes are good and the set is good... hope they don't milk it too much though!

Quick selection and Countdown finished at 10 past, although there were a shed load of ads!

Ben has box 18 today... Ben is a student from Taunton, and Noel totally messes up Ben's intro

Ben is hoping to work in building surveying, and Noel asks for an assesment of the Dream Factory, and it's not looking good :-D

Ben writes his target in the book for Noel...

We have orange boxes covered in cobwebs today....

I wonder if they'll have sound effects on each box opening... so far we have a coffin in the corner, a skeleton in the other corner, cobwebs in front of the boxes, a spider and its web on the box, a bat on the box, and skulls hanging off the wings... :lol:

And there are no sound effects on the box openings... they're probably reserving that for Wednesday's Halloween show!

Ooh I've just realised that some of the boxes have cobwebs on and some have bats... and there was a lightning bolt sound effect when the banker phoned... and it didn't seem to be an added in effect as everyone jumped! :shock:

My "gimmick level" is raising... Noel seems to be looking in a coffin with dramatic music playing... and now he's taking out a scroll, yes, my gimmick level is rising. :lol:

The banker tells Ben that it may not be the case that he has to open 3 boxes at a time today... so are we going to have an offer after each round later on just because it's "Halloween week"?

That is a fantastic block of reds says Noel... There is a big crack of thunder as the phone rings

The banker says he has bought a new ringtone :lol:

Every game this week the banker will guarantee a swap, and the coffin will play a big part in that swap!! Noel is allowed to have a peek in the coffin to see what it contains, but we are not allowed to see

But Noel does get a scroll which contains a clue...

Ben has a system based on opening 3 boxes at a time, but the banker says he might not be able to use that system today!!!
