Too low relative to the mean with only a 3/11 chance of losing the biggie. Eight-box, that could be a different story. Especially with the rock gone.

I've just realised - what has been on the table for three of the last four Fridays now? and it's still in play!

There is no point in saying the 50p makes it look better says Noel, because it doesn't! The banker says that he has seen people turn down some big sums of money, but Rob will be very brave if he turns down this offer....

Banker offers

£8,000

£8k is paltry but the banker has him by the b*lls. I'd go on though.

The banker calls back and says he forgot the unlucky part, which is a dead magpie!!!

Rob goes to Ed for some stats, and he tells Rob that he has a 37% chance of taking out the big one now...

Rob says

NO DEAL

No deal from me I think as it's not near my target and there is a lot left to play for... as long as he keeps the £250k in play.

Ooh, nasty.

I'd have still been playing, £8,000 was... low. I'd have expected a real jump off an all-blue round and wouldn't have been too distraught at losing £8,000. I think £10-12k would have been the area where there was a decision to make.

We nearly had our first ever all-blue squashdown... I think.

At least we won't be seeing yet another Friday final two of 10p vs £1.

I'd imagine this will be about £1,000 or £2,000, he'll no deal and hopefully be left with a final two of a high blue and £15,000... no deal a £4,000 ish offer and win the £15k.

The "Hollow and meaningless" comment from Ed today, along with all the stats advice he's given to players, will surely mean a run of horrible offers in Ed's game now.

£1,300 does represent half an attempt to buy the box. £2,000 would have been a big decision though.

Oh dear... the 10p in the final two on a Friday AGAIN!!! He's about to either join the best club in my opinion - the 10p club - or join the club for the most boring amount as it's been won too much - the £10! :?
