£39

What? That is a really, really sad comment to make. In what way does anyone deserve that kind of bad luck?

Definitely. I think only Philomena and Ken had what you coould call worse luck that that. Had either played with the offer system today I think they would've received peak offers lower than £2,000 each

Got what he deserved. :? He was only acting in Stephen's best interests although the advice was wrong and a bit too over conservative. it would have been worse if he'd advised someone to no deal and it went *beep* up.

Well. I reckon he got what he deserved...simply for advising Stephen to deal that frankly crap offer of £20k.

And ok, one or two comedy deals fine, its a laugh, but now everyone is dealing, and everyone deals a comedy offer whenever they can, making the show pointless.

But wow. Havent seen a game like that since.....well, Philomena actually.

Hasving said that though, James's was almost identical to Robin's

He has given other good advice despite the advice to Stephen being a bit conservative in what way does he deserve bad luck for that?
I disagreed with the advice but Stephen came out of it OK and was happy.

no1 deserves to go home with a small amount Danielj and why you would smile about something like that is beyond me ??

robin was a great contestant and a wonderful man who after my game asked if he and his wife could help me out in anyway, he asked if i didnt mind then he could have a sort out of things to help my sister out so i think its awful to say someone deserves that, when in my opinion nobody who sits in the crazy chair deserves to win only a small amount.

Yes, he was a good contestant and It's a shame we were denied a good scrap today because of bad luck. :(

I'm with you on this one James. No one should ever say that anyone deserves a blue, and Daniel is only saying that since Robin gave Stephen advice which led to a deal. It's also horrible to say such a thing when you don't even know the person and have never talked to them ever.

Oh dear, that was THE game of the guys I was looking forward to and we got THAT. :(

But good on him for taking it so well, as managing to remain positive among all the bad luck was testament to him.

Has anyone had only ONE 4-figure offfer before? Even Philomena got two, just!

Interesting that he replaced Igor too - that position has become the "comedy deal" position!

And I was also relieved that Pete too had a blue, it would have been sickening for him to have had a high-value box knowing that he had a 50:50 chance of playing and it not being him - he's had a lot of other big values recently as well, so at least he gets to play the day after having a fiver.

Sorry it wasn't more Robin, but at least you made it into a comedy trainwreck! :)

No, he doesn't.

And we've had so many horrible luck games lately it's getting crazy, it's a good job they're more spaced apart instead of them all in succession as that really would be bad! Robin was a fantastic contestant, and he's been the last man left from Season 2 for ages, so to have a game like that was terrible, I kept hoping he'd have a huge turnaround from nowhere but at the end of the round you kept getting that sting in the tail. And it seems that people taking comedy deals are destined to lose to the Banker unless their name is Geordie!

Real shame today, hope Pete gets a huge player victory tomorrow!

I'm with James on the whole 'deserving to win' thing.

Winning little on a national TV show is embarrassing - only those who admit they're not gonna win big go home feeling slightly better.

Bad luck, Robin - let's hope Pete can knock up a huge win to close the Males account on a high!

It's typical that a legend has such an awful game, I really wanted Robin to do well. £39's a great comedy deal, though.

Well, that must be in the top three unluckiest games ever. If you take the game as starting at the third offer, the peak offer was £750.39! Would have been hard for the Banker to even give him a decision to make there. A shame for a player who had been there a long time and given sound advice.

That's the first game I've watched in it's complete entirety for a few months now. I can certainly pick them. Poor Robin had almost as much bad luck as Geordie and never really got into the serious offers. I always feel more sorry for the players who never had at least a five figure offer during their game and go home with peanuts as they were never really at the races. It just wasn't to be. :(

One thing I've just remembered - didn;t Robin get an extra £500 from Asim's game for his box value matching the bucket? That makes it a bit less painful anyway. Stevie did as well - in fact knowing that, I'm more surprised Stevie didn't play on, as he had completely avoided going home with an insulting amount!

At least with only o=being offered £750.39 after the thirs offer, you're not going to sleep thinking "if only I'd dealt"! :)

I bet Howard still has nightmares about saying no deal to his first offer....

that's true it was like Claire's game. no tough decisions.

I remember watching Howards game at the time and being seriously tempted by his first offer seing as he'd taken out the 15K and 75K.
i wonder how disappointed he actually was considering his 2nd highest was about 4K?

W3 has been perhaps the unluckiest position this year - 5 out of 9 have won blues, Tess and David both scored OPLs, with only £70k+1p Gaz and Frisbee Dave (£33,333) going against the trend!

Dan123, you are more of an idiot than i thought you were.

Robin was a legend..a really genuine nice guy who deserved to win a lot of money but unfortunately didnt. Such bad luck.

[on another note, there hasnt been a red on the table since Stevie's game last week...]

Oh man that just didn't go well, but Robin took it so well!

To anyone else, did he just seem like a driving instructor the way he talked ?! :-D
