I thought we got over all this silly ringing back and changing the offer. It's like choosing a box, taking a peek inside and then if it's red choose another box! It's cheating on the banker's half and it's not right.

The banker needs to wakey up, he really, really does.

He still didn't win. I think he would have taken the £16,500 actually tbh but it's cheating from the banker as soon as he sees signs of the player making their decision to up the offer is wrong.

We needed a TPW; been a couple days since we had one - but ditto to what Kestral said - eat your words, Noel!

Wasn't a Perfect Win; would have been if he'd gone a round later.

Great game though.

Second draw of the series, with the same amounts involved as the first!

Well done for playing your game John, in spite of what the host would want. If you'd just listened to him that little bit more... you could have won a tenner. :p

yeah Noel should shut up it's random, he shouldn't have feelings, it's just 50/50. That was a reasonable deal IMO, sort of wanted him to go on for entertainment value but the deal was fair enough. 18K's alright. A Debbie style TPW!
the 18K was a little low. I would have expected 20K but I think i would have taken it as it was almost 50/50 whether it could have crashed or burned or not.

It depends on what you expect the banker to offer on a situation with a blue and £50,000.

Was this game a TPW though? Techical draw I think!

All this winning and not winning business can be kinda pessimistic sometimes...Noel used to count a 'win' as an OPW and an OPW only, but now it's whenever someone deals for higher than their box, and I prefer the latter way as it's more optimistic. Positive thinking and all that!

Hilarious game today, though, what a character John was, E11's been great for them lately! So glad he didn't have a disaster and got a chunky £18,000 out of the game, well done John!

i'd like to think I'd get offered 15-18K but with the banker messing around lately I might not have bothered to no deal.

All that'll linger with me about that game is John the 'psycopaff's' chirpy cockney accent which started to irritate within seconds.

Oh and the cop out at 5 box.

Even he admitted it was a bottle out. A real disappointment with £100k and £50k still left on the board. Surely it was worth a punt. But having already seeing one £17k+ offer disappear I sensed he wasn't going to let this one pass. Mind you he would have jumped ship at £16,500 so I don't know what the banker was thinking when he upped the offer to £18k. Making sure I guess.

So £36k goes begging and the only bright spot was Noels ludicrous over the top build up to the box 10 opening only to reveal a blue. Sweet.

Strangely I feel more deflated after this than James's game yesterday. John squanders £18k with his early deal and James never had a chance of anything. What a difference a day makes.

Yup, technical draw.

I'd have considered going on to £36,000, but £18,000 might have taken me out on the grounds of fearing a very poor blue/red offer. If I'd known blue/£100k would draw a £36k offer - and I'm not convinced in actual play it would - I would have said No Deal.

we don't have much to go by in active play. Maybe Dave's 33.33K offer on 1k vs 100K.

He was never destined for £10, since he said at the end that he would have gone on if he had box 11, or would have swapped for 11.
