Oh look, family interference ruined the game today. See, they don't all encourage deals but I sure as hell wish she had have done now!

I think they should stay out of it anyway. If they aren't there they can't be blamed for any wrong decisions!

welldone Lee on the £50, and giving us the first game of season three that was actually, [shock, horror] EXCITING! the first game of season 3 that had that thing they call TENSION in the atmosphere.

but yes, could've been more but hey, £50 is still, er, a lot of money!

I take it you never saw Rossano's, Jon's and Daniel's game?

This is a joke right? The series 3 have been some of the most tense ever! And exciting? They've been humdingers. I think this is the best era od Deal ever..even beating the Marcus-Morris era.

The Fish and Chips offer today actually made me snort coffee almost out of my nose I laughed so much. Shame on me!

Really difficult to know what to say about that one...he's set history for being the first contestant to play who never appeared in Season 2 (and therefore the old set) but unfortunately he had pretty much the same game as 1p Trevor in the process! Really bad luck game, even I wondered whether we'd have a huge win come out of nowhere today, but sadly, not to be.

Hope September kicks off with a better luck game on Sunday!

i don't know what to say really. The offers were poor today compared with what Debbie and Jenny were offered.
I don't blame him for no dealing the 10K but would have encouraged a 15-20K deal on that board.

It's a shame it didn't work out no dealing but the offer was poor so he was prepared to risk it so I respect him for that.

I thought the fish and chips offer was a funny touch too.

Yes there have been plenty of games with tension e.g. Jenny and Vicky but don't advocate that players should no deal just for the sake of it to give tension although sometimes no deals are good.( not that I blamed the no deal today because the offer was poor if you see what I'm saying.)

Despite todays unfortunate outcome the average win this week is still
about 30K.

Poor old Lee. But as soon as he mentioned 'wedding' in the opening minutes of the show he sealed his own fate unless he had an exceptional board. It gave the banker a rough idea of a target and he knew he could keep his offers low.

Unfortunately, the board was never strong, was precarious by 8 box and it was a 1 box game at 5 box. I thought the £10k offer would get him out of the chair (and in retrospect I wish it had) but I admire Lee for his courage in going for the £250k. I would have done so myself. As his wife said - 'Will £10k make that much of a difference?'.

Took it on the chin too. No tears, no regrets. No dishonour in trying and failing.

Thank Lee for the exciting and tense game.

I applaud this man for having the grit to have a go for the 250K ,10K was not enough to warrent a deal at that point IMO.

Bad luck Lee but you shoulda dealt the fish and chips :-D

That's two rubbish Friday games in a row. £10k wasn't really worth taking with the £250k still on the board.

I'm sure you could get some very nice fish and chips for £50, though!

Another crap offer, hopefully the Banker will be made to pay for one of these again soon - has he forgotten about Laura's game already? At least it didn't come down to the last box like Trevor's similar situation.

And you could tell again from the LTL that it was a bad result, I wish they could just cut it out until they get to the shows where it was recorded in the "right place"...

I sort of guessed that the same way I knew that Norman would win a decent sum of money from the LTL yesterday.

I don't know why they put Lee on before robin/Ron either. It was unfortunate like Claire's game last week. To play so soon and only win a blue. :(

I hate it when contestants win a blue because I find it really hard to comment on their game afterwards. I really don't know what to say other than welldone Lee...it's just a shame the luck didn't go in your favour.

As crap as £10,000 was most people would have taken it I think. It's one of those offers which is bad for the board but the board itself makes the offer look big! I thought the offer was about right if not too high!

Yes I must admit I don't know what I would have done there today as it was a perfectly pitched offer. There was a high chance of taking out the Qm but on the other hand 10K is not a huge amount considering it was there in the final 5 and not too much too lose for some people if they choose to go for it. Obviously I would have liked to have seen a more fair offer of 15K but it was interesting to see that situation again and what the banker would do.

I personally thought he made jenny's game a bit too easy for her by offering her 20K in which that would have been a no brainer deal for most people including myself. it is unfair how the banker's generousity is all over the place though. Debbie was offered 18K at 8 box.

I think most people would no-deal £10k with the big one still up there. My tipping point would probably be around £20k. Thinking about where I placed on the Dealometer, I'd guess it would perhaps be around £15k for the average contestant?

I don't know though if it was a board like ginger alan's with a cr*p offer like 9.5K and £750 and 1K as fallbacks I would definitely go for it but with 4 rubbish blues it's a bit different. I ould be swayed either way depending on how I felt on the day.

Although 10K is more psychological so I would probably definitely go for it it was slightly less. trevor's was quite clever in that respect.

With Lee's impending wedding I'm pretty sure the banker thought he would get him cheap for the £10k offer. I must admit I thought he would deal.

It was just a shame that luck wasn't on his side as it would have been nice to see the banker's nose rubbed in it for his insult.
