Noel asks to look at Alex's target..

Alex wanted £15,000 + A girlfriend :P

Noel says that Alex just missed one of his targets, and then calls Emily down to the pound table to see if he can fulfill his other target :P

Yay, back on the right track! Great to see a chunky sum won after Vicky and Claire's games recently, and a hilarious show to boot, Emily's legendary! Well done on a Banker-beating £12,500, Alex!

Hmm, if it is males for the next two weeks, then the current females (especially ones left from Season 2) are going to do a heck of a lot of shows! Hope they all do well, it'd be pretty bad if one of them did over 30 shows only to win a penny!

Well it was all looking pretty dodgy at one stage but having turned it around I was pretty disappointed he dealt with 4 reds (including the £75k) and a high blue on the board. The offer I thought was on the stingy side but the Banker, like me smelt a bail out ..... and so it happened.

However a lucky proveout validated his decision so all was well in the end. It was still a cowardly deal though in my opinion.

I really must stop watching the LTL. You could tell by Noel's jolity that Alex wasn't going to have a trainwreck today.

Well that was a weird game. I probably would have gone on as there was a 60% of chance of 10K and only one blue on the board. i sort of wanted to see him go for it as the board was stable looking but he did well and got a decent OPW :D

(I'm not a huge no dealer and would often deal at 5 box but sometimes if the offer is bouncing around the 3rd highest figure i would go for it.)

I woulda no dealt the 12K offer and I think he should have gone on too but fair play he got away with it so well done.

Im curious to know if him and Emily ever hooked up after the show lol

After the last two games, today's show was great. I think I would have taken £12,500, too.

I don't really like the sound of this "Battle of the Sexes" thing, it seems a bit silly.

Nor do I but the banker doesn't care if we like it or not were getting it lol.

I'm slightly curious but not too bothered either TBH. I don't know how it'll work. It's bizarre that Noel also tried to claim that contestant selection was random today.

I too have to admit to wanting to see a no-deal at £12,500 due to there being plenty of non-disastrous outcomes if the 75k went, but then again I do like it when someone completely proves me wrong, and the first 2 boxes in the proveout certainly did that! I also thought he may have turned it down given his target was higher!

And also great with the thing with Emily too - hope Alex pops on here to let us know how that panned out. ;-)

Well done Alex!

Well, after Vicky and Claire's trainwrecks we needed a game like that! The perfect deal at the perfect time and taking out the £75,000 and £15,000 in the next two boxes after he dealt was just the icing on the cake! Welldone Alex! Enjoy £12,500 :D

And so this completely pointless battle of the sexes starts. It must have been bizarre for the newest male contestant knowing that he would definitely play by his 13th show, as well as for Annie, who wouldn't play til at least her 33rd.

Well done on the OPW, by the way.

I liked Alex as he seemed to be polite and a nice bloke... well done to him for dealing at the right time and beating the banker - hope he also made good use of the other thing he won during his time in the dream factory... Noel clearly enjoyed playing Cupid... bet he wishes he had Alex's looks... :P

Thought it was a bit harsh for the banker to comment on Alex's eyes... bearing in mind the banker (so we are told) is fat and old. He must be jealous...

Anyway, well done Alex and enjoy the dosh - spend it wisely!

Not sure about this Battle of the Sexes thing, as surely some players will do very short runs, and some very long runs?! :?

Will we ever find out if Alex and the audience member, Emily was it, ended up getting it together?
I wonder if there was a cat fight at the end with other "ladies" in the audience, great episod considering the last few.

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday. Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words about my show, it really is appreciated...

I will be posting this in today's game section too as I owe you all an explanation about Emily! To be honest, we exchanged a few texts but nothing really came of it - boring I know!!!

And a few people mentioned it may have been a cowardly deal - it's funny as when I was watching it last night, I thought exactly that - it was a strong board and I can only explain my actions as being so relieved to get the offer I did after the start I had so it was a reaction to that and of course the previous two shows where I saw two really good girls leave with very little... I did it for the morale of the team!!!

Thanks again everyone.

Kindest regards,

Alex. x

(Guess it makes sense why I'm Alex13 now!)

PS - F**king box 12, 3 times it had the quarter million this week!
