The banker exaggerated the chance of taking out the biggie by 2.5% there.

Naughty Banker

Look at the No Dealers on this forum, the contestants who say they're 'here to play the game'...

...they're listening.

Next round

Noel talks about the 40% chance of taking out the £250,000 in this round...

4 - £3,000

3 - £1 Big cheers for that one... Only the 10p remains in the blues...

20 - £250,000

Banker time

Sarah, you may have been wrong about box 5 but that box 20 prediction makes you the greatest psychic ever! (Again)

Oh good grief, Sarah's done it again. I'm in total shock.

This one's quite likely going to the end, there's a probable joke offer here and a 30% chance of two from the top six to finish.

Mean is £27k and tuppence; FD is just over eighteen grand, and if the Banker is respectful this should be One Rock.

EDIT: And whaddya know, he is? That's the Banker finally recognising a stable board - that or he's actually going to start trying to buy the box now that there's no incentive to create a quarter-millionaire through artificially low offers.

The offer music is actually very good but there is a big problem with it. It is the indication of a deal! There's no element of surprise anymore.

P.S. No deal at £20,000

Noel asks what Robert's first reaction is, and Robert replies that it is a good offer. Robert goes to Stevie for advice, and he tells him that he thinks Robert is being seduced by the big numbers on the board. Annie tells him to remember that he thought it was his lucky day today...

Robert says

DEAL

I wish it had had the 10p in it!! Poor Robert

The correct offer for the board, and while I might have gone on there I'm not at all sure. I don't think there was quite enough upside potential for me to go for it - I'd have been much less hesitant if £100k replaced £75k.

He's got nothing to do with it. They make their own choices.

It may have something to do with the time investment and group experience but you can't seriously expect anyone to believe that Noel is causing it.

He's just a silly beardy presenter. It's real money and they'll do what they want. He's not any part of it.

Proveout round

9 - £5,000 Noel has a go at the audience for clapping and they boo him

11 - £20,000 Not good enough says Noel, and the banker calls back and says he is clapping!!

6 - £75,000 Newbie Lee

Banker time with 10p and £35,000 remaining

**Joined:** Tue Jan 03, 2006 6:02 pm **Warnings:** 0

The banker says he cannnot wait for Noel to open Robert's box and reveal £35,000!!

Banker would have offered

£15,000

But I think he's framing the way they think about the decisions, focused upon the 'opportunity' and the 'courage' involved in taking it...

Fabulous stuff from the audience, they're not listening!

And this is either a very good TPW or a far-from-disastrous OBW. And fifteen grand on 50p/£35k? That's up there with the most inflated proveout offers of all time...
