Well, that was an unusual game really, the way he wiped out so many reds while leaving the blue side almost untouched - I can see why he made that deal after rejecting the previous one, as the 60% chance of leaving with practically nothing was staring him in the face, whereas at the offer before that he at least had one safety net. He clearly felt the luck wasn't really with him, and at least we were spared one of those horrible blue-blue finishes we've had a fair number of recently!

I found that really odd that he no-dealed £4,400 at 8-box, but dealt £5,999 at 5-box with 10k the only damage in the intervening round - you were odds on to hit one of the two reds, and if it had been the £100k then the offer would have collapsed into the hundereds, so it hardly seemed worth the bother to be honest - but at least he didn't miss out on too much!

I think the banker might b doing some reasearch on how much he has bought every power 5 box for, then offering £1 less than that on a fragile board with that power 5 amount still in play. I was surprised the £5,999 worked, nobody tends to want to take £14,999 with the quarter-mill stll on the baord, even if it's the only remaining big red! :)

I though it was understandable the way he played it, just a shame he took out so many reds. If he'd kept the 10k to 5 box the offer might have been 10-15K. he was happy to deal for a modest amount rather than risk a 60% chance of peanuts. It was a well pitched offer from the banker which is good in a way but a shame he didn't get more.
I honestly can't say what I would have done today because the banker's £5,999 mind game offer might have got to me.

it was also nice to see Noel respecting his decision before the proveout was played out.

That wasn't the greatest of games, but it could have been a lot worse. Gavin never really had a chance to get the big money.

A real disappointment of a game as the yo-yo week continues.

After the past three classic games, it was inevitable that we'd have an average one in terms of how the game panned out and the amount won. It was a shame the mega money was never there for Gavin, but I thought it was nice of him that one of the main reasons he dealt was to get money for his girlfriend - so well done to him and I hope he and his girlfriend enjoy the money and put it to good use! :-)

I missed bits of this game for various reasons but was good to see him Beat the Banker. Well done!
