Banker phones back

going to offer a swap?

He speaks to Julia first - He congratulates Julia on her game and offers the swap....

Julia takes the swap and changes to Box 10

It contains - £15,000

Box 20 has the £20,000

Awwwwwwwwwwww- it was a real exciting game in the end- I just wish Julia hadn't swapped boxes!

Still- she did really well and entertained us all! Well done, Julia!!

Wow, 4 people in a row going all the way to the end! Shame she gave away the £20,000 but it was worth a gamble at the end and I doubt she'll be too disappointed.

Nice game that was, 15k is a nice amount of money to be going away with.

Banker being a gentleman there saying how he had been outplayed

I bet Pat will be glad to get away from Noel and his jibes after her game finishes :D

I wouldn't swap either...I could take it if I'd never had the big money, but if I'd had it for most of the game and then given it away I'd be really annoyed! Although if it went wrong and I was left with 10p and £5 or something, I'd swap just for fun....and probably end up with the 10p...

I quite enjoyed today's game. I especially loved Julia's Essex/Cockney accent. The question at the end when Noel asked her what she thought was in her (swapped) box and she said "twenty large" I thought was downright hilarious and a real 'EastEnders' Mitchell-brothers type moment. I was hoping it would be, but it would have been worth the gamble no matter what. Not sure about sticking with the box you start with or swapping to another box just because you think it might be significant or "lucky" for you. Sometimes it pays, sometimes not. Disappointing it didn't on this occasion, but "fifteen large" is no doubt just as welcome!!

:D

P.S. Just noticed a *beep* on my post above? How can c_ o_ c_ k_ n_ e_ y be a swear word? How on Earth do these filters work? Bit extreme isn't it? :? :?

Well it would of been a totally different board if Julia had choosen Pat in the earlier rounds! Good job she didn't. £15,000 isn't to be sniffed at and that was the second highest offer she got so it's not all bad. :-D

Was it a tree on Noel's hand?

Great game - nicely turned around towards the end and great for Julia to end up with 15k :)

Though I gotta say that 15k/20k being left has to be one of the easiest choices left - I'd always gamble in that scenario :)

BTW, absolutely loved the "What have you had in your box recently" bit with Emma (?) :-D

Cheers

Michael

Julia was a pleasure to get to know on the East Wing and she did really well in her game - a very plucky young lady.
