Mike joined the forums before he recorded his game and Zeddie said at the time that he reckoned Mike would win £26,001 for a £750 box - Zeddie was close!! Psychic Zeddie!

Excellently played. I'd definitely have done the same as him today, I think I'd have been looking for £15k at the third offer.

Surprised he didn't pop in a hypothetical £52k given what Jon said, we could have had our second draw of the week!!

Yeah, i was thinking that too, at least the banker was honest. He supposedly would have offered a ridiculous 66K when Alain had almost the exact same game!

That 4th offer was a tough one but I was glad he dealt as the money meant a lot to him and he could have easily taken out 1 of the biggies in the 5th round. He got 57% of the money available in the game so he did well.

Can't believe that was the biggest win since Kathleen!

Really well played today, the C4 announcer was right when they said it was a 'nailbiting' episode. That £26k had to be taken, really, it could have collapsed so badly with three boxes to open - it's a pity that it's impossible to get a £26k Banker win unless your name is Norma or Jenny, though! Well done though, Mike, fantastic win!

Well done Mike on winning £26,000. It was an enjoyable game
to watch, and I think you dealt at the right time.

That was a really good game! It was quite tense when Mike dealt, I would have dealt there too.

After all the dithering over £11,000 it was obvious that a 1970's haircut and liking loud music was about as rebellious as it was going to get today.

At the £26,000 offer he didn't know how much of a gambler he was lol. Yeah right. I think myself and 4 million viewers had a fair guess. The banker could probably have got him for the £16k Noel originally mentioned.

Brian was the only one with the sense to realise there was more mileage in the board. Surely it was worth one more round with the £250k and £100k still on the board. The chances of taking them both out was small and the potential reward great.

And so it proved. £45k gone to waste and all for the sake of a little bit of fortitude.

That was great! Mike kept up the honour of W6 (my favourite position) in style! I actually thought that no-dealing the 11k took some guts (I would have found it tempting), , so it was great to see a no-deal on a dangerous board followed by taking out the three lowest values, and the 26k offer was high for the board (if you consider what Violet was offered a round later), but he earned it due to the earlier no-deal! And I don't think I've ever laughed so much when I heard the name of Mike's band! :D

Yes, the proveout offer was a lot more generous than for Violet and Kathleen's 5-box boards, but their 8-bx offer had been just as stingy, whereas Mike's was generous, so they were consistent. And at least he didn't say something like 66k as he would have 2-3 months ago! It would only have taken Mike to have picked his 6th round boxes in the 5th round for compete disaster, so I'd still be happy with that result!

Great game!

I would have dealt when Mike did. If he took even one of the big values out, he wouldn't have seen an offer like that until the very end of the game.

No, well played, skin'ed.
