How unlucky for Daz to be only the third player ever to have 250k in his box. 45k is still an awful lot of money.

Well it's easy to say that after the event. Can you honestly say you would have gone on, with the risk of getting an offer of 5k.
It was the common sence call to deal at 45k.

I was really surprised when he didn't deal at 19k, after seeing his target of 10k.
Shame he stood to get a lot more if he'd stayed on, but 45k isn't bad.

I was convinced he was going to deal at £19k given what he said. Every time someone personalises the game, they deal, often in what I'd consider clear No Deal situations (example: Glen on Tuesday).

The £45k offer was massive, and a very clear Deal in my book with no significant safety net at all. I'm guessing the offer was so high out of respect for Daz's gamble but there's a big nagging doubt in my mind that the Banker knew he had £250k...

daz - what an amazing contestant!!! what a personality! that show was very enjoyable. he really deserves that £45,000 for his mum and himself. it was a real shame he could have won over £200,000 more. towards the end i started to believe that there was a quarter-million in his box. i really hoped that he had the £15,000, but unfortunately not.

im lookin forward to next week - the love week! i wonder what the prizes will be like next week! it will be well worth enterin the viewers draw for the chance to win possibly £20,000!

Unlucky to deal there, shame he had the 250k in his box, I would have dealed there as well.

i think it was the right decision to make for him at the time. i think the 45k will have changed his life dramatically. he deserved it.

What a fantastic game Daz's was yesterday. Truly nail-biting and enjoyable all the way through. If he'd have said no deal to £45,000 I don't think I'd have been able to watch the rest!

I thought he made the right choice at the time- I'd have dealed at that amount. No-one was to know he had the top prize in his box and many, many a time we've seen people turn an offer down, only to lose the BIG amounts in the next round and get a piffling offer from Mr Banker in the next call.

Excellent game and an excellent player. Well done Daz!
