Dami has £50 in her box 21 :D

Box 9 and Wendy has £4,000

Stephen says he can tell that was tough but talks about Dami's positives in life :D

Nick used up a whole week's worth of luck in his game, clearly.

A third game in a row that never got going, but at least she went away with something half-decent and it was only a few hundred less than her highest offer.

The banker's offer at 3 box was so poor though - a near perfect round, a £50/4k/10k board and the offer barely increases? The fact the 10k went and the offer dropped so little says a lot.

Somewhat surprised the 2 box offer was 83% of the average with stakes in the thousands, but Danni deserved it after that total joke of a 3 box offer.

The fact that 7 of the past 8 games have been 2 box deals is quite concerning though. :eyes: :|

Minor correction - 6 were 2 box deals, 1 played to the end (Ush).

Now how about this for a stat and a half - in the last 25 games, just TWO contestants have dealt before 3-box, and we're fast approaching 50 episodes since anyone dealt before 5-box.

The game and the offer patterns strongly discourage dealing until very late in the game, and they make it realllly obvious when they want someone to push on one offer. Dami's 3 box offer was a great example - they saw how tempted she was to deal at 5 box, and wanted to push for the 'big finish'. The generous consolation prize when she lost 10k made it even more obvious.
