Grace's game today .

Noel says Stephen got us off to a great start yesterday - he says it's been a long time since the £250,000 has come to the table, and this is our 77th show with no jackpot winner! He says he's hoping one of this 22 is going to do it...



Grace has Box 1 today. Grace Janes is 67-years old and a retired nurse. Noel says he's been waiting for this one; Grace asks why and Noel says because she's absoloutely barking mad! Grace says she prefers the term 'heathily insane'. Noel and Grace talk about her past as a nurse, Grace says she absoloutely loved it, but there came a time when she needed the nursing herself! She shows us a picture of her husband, Bruce, who died 8 years ago. Grace says that she always feels that he's with her, making some cynical comment or making fun of someone's ugly clothing...Noel laughs and asks if he's here today, and Grace says definately. Grace then says she doesn't have a system, because she says she'd never be able to stick to it as she thinks boxes will jump out and demand to be chosen! So this game is based on which boxes jump out, Noel laughs.

Grace confirms that she chose Box 1 at random before the game began.

Here we go!

Which box is jumping out? Noel asks. Grace says it's Box 7, with Ewan, but it may just be because he's wearing a bright yellow jumper. Ewan says she's been amazing.

Cheers - Grace gets up and walks over to give Jen a kiss. She says that was difficult and she'll only do it for the 10p and 1p now!

More cheers - Grace gets up and starts to walk over, but Noel demands Roger be a gentleman and come over instead, which he does! Time for the first offer.



The banker rings up and says Grace is his kind of lady...Grace scrunches her face and says no thank you! The banker asks what he has to do to gain her affections - £3,000? £4,000? £5,000?

Noel says that the banker is upping the opening offers this series...Grace says £6,000 could do wonders for her bathroom....

Second round - Noel asks if Grace is still looking at the numbers that jump out, and Grace says it's more the people that jump out, as they're wearing bright clothing.

Ethel next - Noel points out that Ethel is wearing a black shirt, and Grace says that she stands out as she likes her hairdo...

Noel says it's time for a break - he asks Grace to tell everyone why they should come back, and she says that a £250,000 win is going to jump out like Ethel's lovely haircut!

Noel welcomes us back - he says this game is very...interesting, so far, but we want the final componant in an all-blue round!

The banker rings and says that Grace is so enigmatic in that he wants her but he can never have her....Grace says if she wins the £250,000 she'll take him out for a drink! The banker says DEAL

Great offer, Grace says. She looks at the board and says even the £100 would do her nicely! She asks Ethel, who says that the board is asking to be played, and she thinks Grace is the one to do it...

The banker rings and says he loves Grace even more now....Noel tells Grace to let him know when the bankers affection gets weird...Grace says it's been weird from the first phonecall but she loves a man who's willing to chase! Noel tells the banker he's nearly got her!

Grace says that it's not bad, considering the round she had...she asks Corinne, who says that there's only 3 amounts higher than the offer and she could find all of them in the next round...it's incredibly unlikely, Grace says, but Corinne points out that it's possible, and as likely as any other combination of three....

Big cheers...Noel says Grace is a brilliant character and we want the brilliant result to match! Grace asks for Kenneth next, but Kenneth says he's already opened his box...Grace pauses in confusion for a few seconds before she realizes she wants Kenny to open his box!

Grace says that £100,000 will just have to do! The banker rings and says with each big amount, he finds himself wanting her more and more! Grace asks for him to keep it PC...the banker says just as he thought he may win Grace's heart, she'll hate him as he has to give her a low offer now!

The phone rings, and Noel let's Grace answer....the banker talks to her, and Grace says she thought she told him to keep it PC! She hands the phone back to Noel, and says the banker told her that he knows she's brave, but she's not stupid...

Noel asks Grace what she thinks, and she says she thinks the offer should be a lot higher! Kenny says that £5,000 is nice money, and much better than £50...Gavin reminds Grace that she said £100 will do, and she has at least that in the final 2 boxes, so she should go for it! Grace says the only way anyone will win big money is if they make the most of the oppurtunity!
