Brenda's game today.

Noel talks about the interesting twist the banker introduced yesterday...he says that in the next 10 shows, we will alternate between male and female contestants, and the gender that accumulates the greatest total win will have one member of their gender playing for £500,000 in the 50th show! Noel tells us that 10 of the current contestants know it cannot be them, as it's a lady taking to the chair today....we look at the board, as usual...



Brenda has box 8 today. Brenda Rex is a 36-year old backing vocalist...another musical player after Nigel yesterday, Noel says...Brenda says she'd love to be a famous singer or be more recognized...Noel gives her a chance to sing for everyone and Brenda says she's too nervous right now, but maybe when she's gotten into the game a bit...Brenda says she loves Aretha Franklin and other strong black singers like her....Brenda says one day, she'd love to be compared to them, but she doubts it'll ever happen! We meet Brenda's husband Vic, who is in the audience....Brenda says they were childhood lovers and they married aged 20...she says she knows they'll be together forever....

We see some pictures of Brenda's children, and of her with some friends...Brenda says she wouldn't let any friends come as they're such cowards! She confirms she chose Box 8 at random...

Brenda laughs as she takes it in...she says it's so much money...she says she really wants to give the game one more chance, but she doesn't want to push it too far. She asks Ashleyne, who says that it's a lot of money, and she can't say what she'd do at this point...she tells Brenda to make her decision when she's fully convinced herself not to have any regrets...she says everyone on the wings will support her no matter what...Nea says no one wants to see Brenda go away with nothing...Brenda says this is such a hard decision...Noel asks what her sons at home will be thinking, and Brenda says that they'd want mummy to go on and win the £250,000! Brenda thinks about and looks at her husband, who shakes his head...Brenda asks for the question
