Noel says we're still recovering from Harrison's amazing £91,000 win yesterday, both emotionally and physically, as there was quite a lot of alcohol consumed in the celebrations afterwards! He says that a big win yesterday doesn't mean we can't get a higher one today...let's look at the board...



Alice has Box 19 today...the malice of Alice is here on the table! Alice Rhys is 31 years old and runs a youth club centre in Somerset...Noel talks about the amount of big numbers she's had during her 20 shows on the wings, and Alice says she's had the £75,000 the most...she says she has a feeling it's in her box today. Her husband Dave is in the audience, Alice says they've been married for 4 years, and it's been the happiest 4 years of her life...

Alice says she's never been in a gambling situation before, so she has no idea how she'll cope...she says that she won't settle for low offers though! Alice confirms she chose Box 19 at random before the show...

She looks around and closes her eyes...she says she really wants to make a gamble, but she's scared she may regret it...she mutters £50,000 under her breath and says it would be amazing...she looks at her husband and asks for the question

Not what we wanted at all, Noel says...he tells Alice that at this point she'd have been garunteed £10,000....the banker rings and says that he always suspected she'd get an offer higher than £10,500, but he wanted to convince her she wouldn't so she'd deal, and it all worked brilliantly...
