Lola's game today.

Noel says it's the start of a new week, and he says how the banker had a beating last week and gave away over £230,000! He says that hopefully on this Monday the luck doesn't start to wane...he tells today's player to be positive as they endure a battle with the banker! We look at the board...



Lola has box 18 today. Lola Richardson is a 24-year old dance teacher...she says she teaches children up to about 10 a variety of difference styles of dancing...Lola says she enjoys it but it's not her dream job, and it's something she wants to do forever. Noel asks what job she WOULD like and Lola says she'd love to get into interior design some day...her friend Jenny is in the audience today, along with Lola's mum Phyllis. Lola says she isn't a dealer or a gambler, and she plays the board quite well...Noel says she's definately been a top advice giver on the wings. Lola says she doesn't have a target or a system either, and Noel says she didn't come very prepared! Lola says she didn't want to plan her game at all beforehand and she wanted it all to just work out naturally...

We see some pictures...Lola confirms she chose Box 18 at random before the show.

He says he's relieved Lola found the £250k, as he had a feeling she was one of the few who could win it...

Lola says it's very generous as she found the £75,000...Noel says that he thinks the banker has listened to Lola's words of wisdom on the wings and has realized she's a very good reader of the board...Lola says that for a 24-year old, £7,000 is a lot of money...she says she'll give it another shot though

Your board keeps getting close to being strong, and then you go and find another power of 5 amount, Noel says...Lola says that her eyes are on the £100,000 and it's still there, so she's okay. Noel begins talking before there is a loud noise and Box 14 has fallen from the wings and opened, revealing £250! Sebastian looks embarrassed and Noel is unsure what to do.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING 28/4/08

"George's series" of Deal Or No Deal is recorded using a deck of cards - 22 cards are used and faced downwards and different cards represent different amounts. (A of Spades = 1p, 2 of Spades = 10p etc.). When the card representing Box 13 was opened, Box 14 accidently turned over as well. This led for the remaining boxes to be reshuffled, including Lola's box 18.

Noel apologizes to Lola, and she says it's okay....what an unusual situation that all the boxes must now be reshuffled...they are all taken off and the banker rings and says that Lola can ponder this offer whilst the reshuffle takes place!

Lola says that it's a good offer, as its about 50% of the mean...she says she's trying not to let the reshuffle affect her game at all, but as she's not been having great luck, it may change it...the boxes are brought out again and Box 18 is placed back on the table...Lola says she's ready for the question

Noel says this is has been a very unusual game as a box was knocked over and opened, meaning all the boxes were reshuffled...he says we're back into full swing and it looks like the reshuffle could have been a good thing, as Lola is close to having an all-blue round after bad luck at the start of her game!

Oh poo, Lola says...Noel tells her that she has to stop finding a big number in the last box of the round...he says that every round so far, she's hit a power of 5 amount, and now just the £100,000 remains. The banker rings and says that isn't it terrible when a player with the intelligence and the courage just doesn't have the board? He laughs down the phone as he reveals he next offer...

Lola shakes her head...Noel recalls her past offers...we started at £3k, then up to £7k, up to £8k and now we're going down again, he says...Lola says she really feels something about the £100,000 in her game...she says that £5,000 is actually quite a good offer...she says the mean stayed around the same, so for the offer to go down is a little harsh, but she says its understandable due to the volatility of the board...is £5,000 enough for you? Claudia asks....

How awful, Noel says..he tells Lola he's very sorry that it just hasn't been her lucky day. Pamela calls out that there's still £10k, and Noel reminds Lola that it's higher than any of her offers...Lola says it's okay, she's just dreading this next phonecall. The banker rings and says that he won't taunt her or laugh, he'll give her the respect to just say the offer...
