Mandy's game today

Noel says he thinks the run of bad games is over after Soloman's huge turnaround yesterday...he says that just because there was a big win yesterday doesn't mean there won't be one again today, as Mary-Louise and Jonny won 50p and 22p consecutively! We look at the board...



Mandy has Box 13 today. Mandy South is a 43-year old health advisor from Sheffield. An odd surname for someone from Sheffield, Noel says! Mandy laughs and says that her husband was originally from the south, so it was appopriate for him! We meet him - Mike, Mandy's husband is in the audience. They have three children together, and we see some pictures. Mandy would love to be able to treat the family more, and redo some parts of her house as she loves interior design...Noel asks what she thinks about the decor of the Dream Factory, and Mandy says it's lovely, unconvincingly!

Mandy confirms she chose Box 13 at random today...she says it's unlucky for some, but it won't be for her today!

Mandy says that the 5 birthdays in her family are going first...1, 7, 12, 16, 17...she was going to save them until last, but as there are 5, it works with the opening round...

Mandy looks shocked, there is a small silence but then the audience clap. Noel says if we're rewarding people who have the bankers power of 5, we should punish those who have the big numbers! He sends Nea off and Mandy says that's so mean!

Mandy says it's a good round, and Noel says that it would have been excellent if Nea didn't ruin it! The banker rings and says poor Nea...in the next round she'll have three more to join her though, he says...

Off you go Keith, Noel says! Keith is sent off to join Nea, and we see a video on the screen of the two of them sat together, watching the game! 18 next, and Ashleyne says she's scared of being sent off!

Massive groans...Ashleyne too is sent off! Mandy says the wings are starting to look quite empty!

What an exciting round, Mandy laughs...exciting, but not good for the board, Noel says! The banker rings and says if we can have Nea, Keith and Ashleyne away from the game as a permanent fixture, as he quite likes it...he says amongst all the gimmicks, it was an awful round for Mandy...

Mandy says it's still good...Noel says that he thinks the average would have gone up a little after that round...the banker rings and says that it's gone up by £2,500, and the offer will follow suit!

Mandy says that's a lot of money...she asks her husband Mike, who says that £8,500 would really help them, and she's seen how games can crash...Mandy says she wants to go on, but £8,500 is a lot of money to her, and she says she's thinking about Maud's game, where she said if you get to a sum of money you want, why go on and gamble it? Only a gambler will get that £75,000, Noel says...Mandy agrees...she thinks about it and asks for the question

Mandy says

Mandy smiles and shakes Noel's hand...he says well done to her, as he realizes £8,500 will help Mandy a lot...he says he wants Mandy to now replicate the games we've seen and destroy the board!

Before we go, Noel requests for Nea, Keith and Ashleyne to be brought back in! As they resume their places on the wings to applause, Noel says anyone who reveals the 1p or 50p will be sent off, and the kisses will now go to the finders of the £50,000 and the £75,000...Mandy says that sounds perfect!
