Noel talks about Az's cautious deal yesterday and says that in the end, it worked out well that he didn't take the gamble most people would have done...he says the game can go many ways, and we're hoping for a huge win today! We look at the board...



Mary-Louise has Box 14 today and takes a little curtsey after putting her box on the table! Mary-Louise Smith is a 61-year old primary school teacher...she tells Noel that she's had various different jobs in eduction spanning for 40 years! She says she loves the emotional reward involved with helping children to learn...we see a picture of her husband Jack, who couldn't be here today, but her son Philip is in the audience today, so she's not alone! Mary-Louise says that she is a huge supporter of an anti-child abuse charity, and she says that 50% of her winnings today will be donated to it...Noel tells her that it's wonderful....

Mary-Louise says she hasn't been here very long, and tells the audience how amazing everyone is, she says she's made so many friends and she doesn't want to leave! Gwen is crying already!

Mary-Louise confirms she chose Box 14 at random before the show....

Noel says he's so sorry to Mary-Louise, he says it was just a game where there was no luck whatsoever....he tells us that hopefully, tomorrow will be a much richer day for Deal Or No Deal, and we can get this awful bad luck out of our heads...

I forgot to mention, that was a horrible game

Wow, that was certainly an unfortunate game. It was a bit like Siobhan's/ Scottish John's, where the board was destroyed very early on, and the reds keep going so they end up with the blue. Winning the lowest unless the player wants to out of the final two amounts is always the kiss of death though, I suppose.

Bad luck Mary-Lou. I hope this Lucy does better than the one I had as an original
