Lucy's game today.

Noel says that there's a very sombre atmosphere in the dream factor, after Mary-Louise won 50p, and yesterday Jonny dealt for just 22p! Noel says that he really wants someone to come out and change that today...we look at the board...



Lucy has box 3 today. Lucy Williams is a 25-year old waitress from a town near Newport in Wales...Noel says her strong accent is very infectious and he keeps wanting to slip into it! Lucy says it's fine, and tells Noel she taught everyone how to say 'good luck, I hope it's blue' in Welsh, so everyone's going to say it before they open their box! Lucy has here mum Doreen in the audience today...hello Doreen, Noel says! He tells her that her daughter is absoloutely nuts!

Lucy tells Noel to tell her when to shut up as she never knows herself...Noel tells her to shut up! We see some pictures of Lucy and her friends...Lucy says that she was planning to use the money to move to a city in Wales, but now she's decided she quite likes Bristol! So you're aiming for big money, Noel says, and Lucy agrees, but says she's not a very big gambler, but it's okay, because she has things she wants to do with a smaller sum as well...

Lucy chooses box 18 and Robbie, and is about to tell us something before Noel reminds her that she needs to confirm she chose Box 3 at random, which she does...

Here we go...

Lucy has changed her mind, and Noel asks why, and she says that it was probably destiny that stopped her from choosing Robbie....she chooses Harrison, who says good luck in Welsh!

The banker says this has been a brilliant week so far...Maud blew £75,000, Az made a low deal and then Mary-Louise and Jonny crashed and burned....

The 1p at the end was nice, but boy have you made this hard for yourself, Noel tells Lucy...the banker rings and says he's concerned as Lucy seems surprisingly happy even after that round...he asks Noel if Lucy actually knows what's going on! The banker says that he loves Lucy, but really, he can't give a high offer now...

Ooh, says Lucy...she tells the audience that £4,500 is a load of money for her, because she's only a waitress...Lucy asks the wings who is the most cowardly, and if they'd go on...no one admits to it, so Lucy just asks if anyone would deal now...there is silence, and she asks for the question.

Noel says he can't believe the amount of bad luck in the dream factory recently...Lucy says 'ah well' and sits at the pound table and laughs...the banker rings and says that it doesn't seem like the previous two games have affected Lucy as he may have hoped....he tells Lucy that it's game over for her if she doesn't deal...

Lucy says even if she finds the £20k, the £10k and the £5k, she's still had a great time...

This is incredible, Noel says...the bad luck that we've seen...he tells Lucy she has to go away with £10,000 now!

Noel says Lucy is taking this better than he is, and it's not even his money! Lucy says that any money is a bonus to all the friends she's made and the great time she's had...the audience applause and Lucy smiles. The banker thinks her optimism is sickening, he thinks that her can get her to deal with a nice offer...

Lucy nods and says she doesn't know what to do! She says that £10k seems so much higher, and £250 doesn't seem that much lower...she says she wouldn't mind £50 in her bank account! Lola tells her that after all this bad luck, doesn't she think it's time to change it? Lucy says that if she has an all-blue round, the offer isn't going to be much higher, and to get a much higher offer, she'd need to go to the end and have £10,000 in her box, where there's only a 20% chance of...Lucy says that £1,000 is a nice shopping spree for her...

Lucy says

Everyone applauds and Lucy says that when she thought about it, it wasn't worth going on...Noel says she has to find the £10,000 now!

Lucy thanks Noel and the production team for the great time she's had...with the £1,000 she'll be able to buy shoes, get her hair done and get loads of clothes, she says! Noel tells her that she's been a fantastic contestant, and he tells us to watch again tomorrow where hopefully, hopefully, the players luck will change...
