Gus' game today. Noel talks about how there's a very different atmosphere in the dream factory today, after Melinda walked away with just 10p yesterday...he says how her sister was very influential and was the key reason she turned down £14,999...he tells the contestants that today's player should not let themselves be persuaded so easily...we take a look at the board...



Gus has box 10 today. Gus Stanioli, sounds like a very Italian name, says Noel! Gus talks about his Italian heritage....Gus is a 26-year old garage worker from Liverpool...slightly less exciting than Italy, Noel laughs. Gus talks about a dream he had a few nights ago, where he won a certain sum of money...he hasn't told anyone about it because he had a strong feeling it's his destiny to win that sum of money, and he wants to see if he's right...Noel says that's very interesting! Gus' girlfriend Patricia is in the audience supporting him today - Gus says they've been together for 5 years, and how Patricia is currently 7 months pregnant.

We see some pictures...Gus and Patricia have been doing a project where they take a picture of her standing every few days and when the pictures are played in succession, we see her belly grow, we see a few of them...Noel says it's fantastic, and Gus confirms he chose box 10 at random before the show.

Gus talks about how he thought Melinda's system stiffened the game, so he has no system, but the number 12 is very important to him....

The banker rings and says that it's the strongest board so far...Gus says it reminds him of Angela's, but it seems a safer board...the banker thinks that this is Gus' mystery amount, and this is the amount he will go home with...

Gus opens his mouth wide and then covers it...it's an amazing offer for an amazing board, Noel says. Gus asks Patricia who says that she doesn't want to tell him what to do - she reminds him that the next round can go either way...he's bound to hit big numbers, but the board is so strong that it may not matter...Gus crouches and stares at the board...Noel asks if £20,000 is the amount he saw himself winning, and Gus says it's not...he's sure that this is not where he is supposed to stop

Gus says it wasn't a very good round, but it's still a good board...the banker rings and says Alice is forgiven and his new least favourite is Roy, for producing two blues in two games...the banker talks about how looking at Gus' past boxes, the majority of his boxes have contained blues, and he thinks today is no different.

Gus says that it's once again, a great offer. He asks Lola, who says that she would go on, because it's a really strong board...she says he's only being put back by finding two big amounts in the previous round, and she says that had the £100k and the £50k been found right at the beginning, she doesn't think he'd been contemplating this offer. Gus asks his girlfriend Patricia who says that he knows what they want to do with the money, and £18,000 is just about right...she says it all depends on how strong his belief is that there's a sum he's destined to win...Gus now reveals he thinks he is supposed to win £50,000! Patricia says she can't tell him what to do, it's his game...Gus has no idea what he should do...he says it was just a dream, and it's not worth blowing £18,000 for it...but he does believe it, as he's had dreams before that have turned out to predict what happens...

Gus says

Gus starts crying! He says he really wanted to go on, but he couldn't blow it, not after what happened with Melinda yesterday, and he didn't want to let Patricia and their baby down...Noel says he hopes that the board is destroyed...

Gus had a weird feeling about Box 20 and Caroline, he says he wouldn't have chosen her yet...
