I'm more surprised this is only the second civilian contestant to win $200,000 - there was a celebrity edition with a jackpot win in 2007, but you have to look back to 2004 and Dean Cartechini's notorious AMO rejection on an all-or-peanuts finish.
Quite the opposite win here - this was one the producers were apparently begging for.
