And here's how it went!

I welcome everyone to a very special episode of DoND USA celebrating Christmas! Be prepared for some AMAZING surprises and twists in this very special two hours!

First thing to note is the set has been decorated for this occasion! The set is done to look just like a winter wonderland with fake snow all over the set and graphics! There are also various other things like holly, wreaths and large candy canes also decorate this very elegant stage where we hope large sums of cash will also fall from the rafters!

First surprise is Howie introduces himself from a sleigh that hangs from the ceiling! After he is lowered, Howie introduces those gorgeous case opening models, who are escorted by none other than Santa Claus himself! Santa will figure very seriously in the games later!

The models themselves are holding cases that are covered in Christmas gift wrapping!

Speaking of, it's time to get the first one started! And this contestant is very special for reasons you'll see very quickly!

Contestant: Skip Allen!

Before he comes on stage, we are shown a video profile of Skip showing us around his home town of Santa Claus, Indiana! (Yes, the town is really called that!) Skip himself is a general manager at a local lodge, appropriately named "Santa's Lodge"!

Of course the Grinch himself, The Banker, will stop at nothing to ruin the festive spirit of the show! Will he succeed or will good prevail over evil? Let's find out!

Chosen case: 25!

Round One: Six Cases:

21: $400

17: $100

23: $750,000!!

14: $10

9: $10,000

8: $50,000

Banker's offer: $17,000!

NO DEAL!

Before the next round begins, Santa has a very special surprise for the audience members! Two lucky people will win a pricegrabber.com electronics prize package which includes a Plasma TV and loads of other goodies!

Underneath the audience chairs, there ares some green colored boxes. Two of them have a slip saying "Deal" inside. The two who find this slip will instantly win!

After the very lucky winners are found, it's time to continue Skip's game and see if he can win himself a sleigh full of cash!

Round Two: Five Cases:

4: $500,000!

16: $200

15: $100,000

5: $1,000

2: $75

Banker's offer: $25,000!

NO DEAL!

Round Three: Four Cases:

18: $200,000

7: $1!!

12: $1,000,000!!!

13: $500

Banker's offer: $15,000!

NO DEAL!

Before the next round, we are given a former contestant update! This one focuses on Matthew Solina! He was a contestant on the second season premiere and played a game with an $3,000,000 prize! Matthew walked from the game with a huge $675,000 deal, but sold off a case that held the $3,000,000!

But this update is really special! "Matty" comes to the door to find Howie Mandel himself there with $675,000! No, not a check but...

CASES FILLED WITH $675,000 IN REAL CASH!!!!!!!

But it doesn't stop there, during his time on DoND, Matthew kept referring his game as "Matty Day" and Matty gets a huge surprise from an New York City councilman who officially proclaims one day a year as "Matty Day" in the NYC community of Staten Island, where Matty lives!

Matty sums it up the best: "This is a day the Solina family will never forget... and The Banker won't either!"

You can read all about Matty's amazing game here: http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4277

Back in the DoND studio in Los Angeles, California, Santa has another surprise for the audience! This time he is offering two people in the audience an all-expenses paid holiday to Aruba!!! All it takes to win is to find the slip saying "Deal" in red colored boxes under their seats!

The shocked winners are discovered and it's time to resume Skip's game. He has hit a bit of a rough round but there is still plenty of chances to recover in...

Round Four: Three Cases:

1: $300,000

3: $750

10: $50

Before the Banker gives the offer, Skip calls him "Ebeneezer Scrooge" to wild cheers in the audience!

The Banker, however, is very furious at being called this and has a really nasty surprise for Skip!

The Banker dispatches a quartet of carolers to sing to Skip the offer to the tune of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", but in The Banker's own special way!

Here are the lyrics (And I swear this is for real!):

We wish Skip a Merry Christmas
We wish Skip a Merry Christmas
We wish Skip a Merry Christmas
Now get out of here!

You are a dumb hick
Your mustache is sick
Your home town's a dump
You Santa Claus chump!

Oh here's how you can leave that Hell
Shave, move and run a real hotel!
Just take this offer that you hear
Then Disappear!

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Again, I swear all that was really said! The caroler's finish the song with...

Thirty-One Thousand Dollars!

Banker's offer: $31,000!

Despite the vicious attack from The Banker, Skip is not fazed one bit and chooses to go...

NO DEAL!

Round Five: Two Cases:

22: $75,000

24: $25,000

The Final Six:

- .01¢
- $5
- $25
- $300
- $5,000
- $400,000

Banker's offer: $43,000!

The Banker has another evil twist coming! This time, it involves the audience. The Banker requests everyone pick up a black colored box underneath their seats.

The Banker says that if Skip takes the $43,000 offer, everyone in the audience will win whatever is inside their box!

Despite the temptation, The audience feels strongly that Skip should say "No Deal" and continue on! With that rousing vote of confidence, Skip says it's a....

NO DEAL!

Howie, however, decides to be nice and let everyone have what was in their black colored boxes anyway! Those boxes held a prize of...

.01¢!!!!

YES! EVERYBODY REALLY JUST WON A PENNY!!! The audience reacts by booing The Banker! :-D

Skip will try to avenge the audience with...

Round Six: One Case:

19: .01¢!!!

At least we know Skip will definitely not join the audience in the newly created "One Cent Club"! But, he can definitely win this offer if he so chooses...

Banker's offer: $54,000!

NO DEAL!

Round Seven: One Case:

11: $5,000

Banker's offer: $75,000!

NO DEAL!

Round Eight: One Case:

Skip decides to go with Case 26 and before the contents of Case 26, the Booyeah case in Australia, the show interrupts for a Contestant Update!

This is actually the second update from Tammy Fuller! She was the New York Jet's fan who turned down a "Jets Dream Package" and won $186,000 but had $1,000,000 in her case and later receiving her "Jets Dream Package" anyway as a Thanksgiving gift!

There really isn't an "update" on Tammy on this one, it's just Tammy and her family wishing DoND and America a very "Happy Holidays"!

Tammy's games: http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4743 and http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4794

Back to the game! Does Case 26 have a "Boo" or a "Yeah" inside? The case is opened to revieal...

26: $25

The Banker only has this to say to Howie before the offer: "I can't believe I'm going to have to give the goofball in the hat the real money"!

How much real money? Find out now!

Banker's offer: $136,000!

DEAL!

Despite all attempts to derail him by The Banker, Skip was able to keep in control of his game and take a $136,000 stocking stuffer!

But, does The Banker have the last laugh in this most unusual game? The Proveout will determine if he has!

Proveout: Case One:

20: $300

It would have been a $5 or $400,000 final two and The Banker says he would of gone this way if Skip had pressed on...

Banker's offer: $201,000!
Dealt at: $136,000!

Did Skip fall into yet another trap set by The Banker and make an horrible deal or did Skip actually sell a mere fiver for huge money?

Case 25 on 12/25 is opened and shown to America that it held...

25: $5!!!!

It was a good deal after all! This strange game has an happy ending after all!

To prove it:

6: $400,000

Game Summary:

Peak offer: $201,000
Case value: $5
Prize won: $136,000
Result: Technical Player Win (67-33)

Christmas night continues on with another player ready to take on "Scrooge"! His name is...

Contestant: Lamar Wilson!

Fast facts: Lamar runs an Ice Cream Shop and we later find out Lamar is also afraid of Big Bird!

Chosen case: 23!

Round One: Six Cases:

2: $1,000,000!!!

25: $500

12: $400

17: $50

8: $100,000

5: $25

Banker's offer: $20,000!

NO DEAL!

Round Two: Five Cases:

20: $400,000

1: $300

13: $25,000

15: $750,000!!

14: $1!!

Banker's offer: $17,000!

NO DEAL!

The show goes into commercial and when it returns, we see the case models caroling from outside the Banker's office! Posted on the door are the words "Bah Humbug!". Soon, the models realize The Banker will never be in the Christmas spirit and decide to give up and return to their posts.

Back to the game and it's about to take a most interesting twist!

Santa is willing to give everybody in the audience some gifts but he will only do so every time Lamar says, "No Deal" to The Banker's offers! Before we can get to the first gift offer from Santa, we must do:

Round Three: Four Cases:

4: $10

7: $200,000

26: $100

11: $300,000

First, the Banker's cash offer to Lamar:

Banker's offer: $22,000!

Now, Santa's gift offer to the Audience:

Santa's offer: A DIGITAL CAMERA!

Lamar has only this to say to the Banker's offer:

NO DEAL!

And that means everyone in the audience has just won a digital camera! Simple as that!

Following the break, it's time for one more Contestant Update!

This one is from Michelle Falco! As some might remember, Michelle played on the 2nd Season Premiere Week with a jackpot of $6,000,000! Although she lost the $6,000,000 Michelle was able to fight her way to an unbelievably incredible final two of $750,000 or $1,000,000! She did fall just short of becoming DoND's first millionaire, but she still happily took back a whopping $750,000!

Just like the last one, this isn't really an update and more of an Christmas Well wishing. Michelle and her husband have an tradition of making their own Christmas cards and this years will feature Howie Mandel... or at least a cardboard cutout of Howie! :D

The update ends with the final product of The Falcos 2006 Christmas Card!

You can read Michelle's AMAZING game at http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4336 and http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4355

Now we return to the game and...

Round Four: Three Cases:

16: $75,000

19: $75

22: $200

Banker's offer: $39,000!

Santa's offer: A SPIDERMAN DOLL AND A $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO HASBRO TOYS!

And to help Lamar to make a decision, the show has decided to invite a special guest over to help him out...

BIG BIRD!

Yes, the show wants Lamar to overcome his fear! His first reaction isn't good and storms off the set! But Howie is able to talk Lamar into coming back and eventually gives Big Bird a hug! Lamar later implies that this actually helped him to get over his fear!

He has to fear in saying this to The Banker's offer:

NO DEAL!

And everyone in the audience wins the doll and the $100 GC!

Round Five: Two Cases:

6: $1,000

18: $500,000!

DISASTER! That was the last six-figure amount left in the game and now the most Lamar can hope for is just $50,000! But winning this amount would result in an OPW, so the game isn't over just yet!

The Final Six:

- .01¢
- $5
- $750
- $5,000
- $10,000
- $50,000

Banker's offer: $8,000!

Santa's offer: A YEAR LONG MEMBERSHIP TO NETFLIX!

NO DEAL!

And the audience wins another prize!

Round Six: One Case:

10: $750

Banker's offer: $12,000!

Santa's offer: A YEAR LONG MEMBERSHIP TO BALLY TOTAL FITNESS EXERCISE CLUB!

NO DEAL!

Audience adds another gift to their list of goodies won!

Round Seven: One Case:

9: $5!

Banker's offer: $15,000!

Santa's offer: A JETBLUE AIRLINE GIFT BAG!

It's filled with great stuff with the best one being a round trip travel certificate to fly on JetBlue!

NO DEAL!

The audience wins yet another gift from Santa!

Round Eight: One Case:

21: .01¢!!!

Fantastic! Now Lamar can't leave the show with anything less than $5,000!

Banker's offer: $24,000!

Santa's offer: $100 GIFT CARD TO ALBERTSON'S GROCERY STORE!

Despite Santa's offer, Lamar decides it is time to say...

DEAL!

Lamar suffered some huge setbacks in his game but still has managed to grab another $24,000 out of The Banker's pocket, which is still a lovely amount to win on this magical night! Plus, Lamar helped win loads of prizes to the audience!

Being in the Christmas spirit, Howie lets the audience have the $100 grocery gift card prize anyway!

Now lets see if Lamar was wise to pull out that this stage with The Proveout!

Proveout: Case One:

24: $5,000

Ouch! Lamar would have bettered his situation because he had it down to an $10,000 or $50,000 final two!

Banker's offer: $31,000!
Dealt at: $24,000!

Did Lamar make an $14,000 profit or did he give away $26,000? Howie opens Case 23 and shows everyone that it held...

23: $50,000

Lamar isn't too torn up about it though!

To prove it:

3: $10,000

Game Summary:

Peak offer: $39,000
Case value: $50,000
Prize won: $24,000
Result: Outright Banker Win

And that's all we have for the DoND Christmas Special! I think you will agree it was a brilliant night! Loads of cash given away, a huge list of prizes awarded to the audience and some great classic moments all happened in this wonderful present!

I also want to wish everyone a very happy new year! Thank you for reading and hope to see you all in 2007! (Don't worry, DoND USA is not taking another break, but this is the last episode of 2006!)

Thank you my friends and...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

And there you have it!

But apart from that it sounded class!
