2 people within a week or so hit the million first case?

Before then only 1 had EVER done it!!

I think Adalis was a BIT greedy but to be fair, her luck was nowhere to be found!

Bah. It's train wreck games like this that suck the life out of any country's version of DoND. Everything is going along nicely, the player has about 4 or 5 of the Power 7 (amounts that are $100K and over) left, and then all of them disappear in the course of three or four rounds. Another ouright Banker win due to the reckless greed of the contestant. She should have taken the $196K, or even the $155K, but she chose to play until the end, which sometimes isn't the right thing to do. The poor woman must have felt absolutely gutted after she lost the $500K, as did the model with the huge afro (No. 25), Howie, the audience, and the contestant's friends. This marks the second time that a contestant went all the way and ended up with just $750. And speaking of the contestants, the current player ins most likely headed for a train wreck as well. It'll only be a matter of time before he opens the case that has the $750K inside. Then again, it may be inside his No. 17. Hopefully, we'll see some better games with some 6- (and possibly even 7-) figure wins, and less 3-figure wins in the near future.
-Mark.

I actually thought that there was more in the game, I doubt very much that I would have avoided being in that situation myself - the offers seemed rather low for a board that remained strong and stable even after the loss of the million, especially given the one-case-to-open format in the US.

The second game looks like a definite write-off at present.

Apparently, Hayley (model #25) went down to see the case opening of 25 with the family of Adalis, but Howie brought the case down and made her open the case in front of the family.
