Fast facts: Matthew has been married for 23 years, has been part of his local Teamsters Union for 23 years, he got married on the 23rd and his birthday is on the 23rd. Guess what he picked for his case...?

Chosen case: 23! :-D

Round One: Six Cases:

5: .01¢!!!

3: $25,000

17: $200

12: $25

13: $100

18: $10

Banker's offer: $32,000!

NO DEAL!

Round Two: Five Cases:

3: $1,000

8: $400

4: $50,000

25: $400,000

24: $5!

Banker's offer: $105,000!

(Yes! A six-figure this soon!)

NO DEAL!

Round Three: Four Cases:

1: $5,000

16: $50

21: $75

9: $100,000

This is just the third offer and The Banker feels he has to raise it up to...

Banker's offer: $249,000!

NO DEAL!

WOW! *Third* offer and it's already into the gigantic life-changing sums of money! Can he hold on to this HUGE advantage over The Banker? We find out on...

Round Four: Three Cases:

7: $750,000!!

11: $75,000

6: $500

The Banker is feeling the pressure, he wants Matthew out of the game and he wants Case 23! So, he thinks Matthew will be scared out with an offer of...

Banker's offer: $400,000!

Oh, but The Banker isn't done yet! He *REALLY* wants Matthew out of the game. So he adds pressure to the offer by bringing out his own small group of Case Models and they present to him...

$400,000 IN REAL CASH!!!!!

Yes, if Matthew takes the offer, he will have $400,000 in real cold hard American cash to take home!

Facing this incredible offer, Matthew decision's is to say...

NO DEAL!!!!!

The biggest offer ever refused! Lets hope Matthew was wise to refuse that huge offer with...

Round Five: Two Cases:

20: $300

2: $10,000

THE BANKER IS FURIOUS!! He feels that he has no choice to RAISE THE OFFER to where it has NEVER been at in play!

Banker's offer: $650,000!!!!!!

Remember, Matthew still has $1,000,000 and $3,000,000 still in play! He would have one case to open if he we're to play on. If he hits one of the big numbers, the offer will go way down.

With all that in mind and facing the biggest offer ever, Matthew says...

NO DEAL!!!!!!!

YES, YOU HEARD ME RIGHT! MATTHEW JUST TURNED DOWN $650,000!!!!

Michael has a VITAL round ahead of him and it's just one case. Can he do it or has he made a GIGANTIC mistake? All will be answered with...

Round Six: One Case:

15: $500,000!

Despite hitting a huge number, The Banker has INCREASED the offer again! This time he wants Matthew to leave with...

Banker's offer: $675,000!!!!!!!!

Again, I remind you, Matthew still has the two seven-figure amounts in play! Matthew has a long, hard think and with the advice of his supporters, Matthew is going to say...

DEAL!!!!!!

MATTHEW HAS TAKEN THE BIGGEST IN PLAY OFFER IN AMERICAN "DEAL OR NO DEAL" HISTORY!!!!! A life-changing $675,000 is now safe in Matthew's pocket!

However, did Matthew possibly throw away the chance at even more money? Lets Proveout and see just how clever Matthew was!

Proveout Round One:

26: $1,000,000!!!

Banker's offer: $610,000!

Yes, the offer would of went down! One down, one to go!

Proveout Round Two:

14: $250,000

This offer is going to make you sick...

Banker's offer: $1,100,000!!!!!!

Proveout Round Three:

22: $750

Oh no! Matthew would of kept the $3,000,000 in play to the final along with the $1!

If you thought the $1,100,000 offer was sick, brace yourself to what The Banker would of offered if Matthew had the mad courage to play it all the way to this stage...

Banker's offer: $1,600,000!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew sold his case for $675,000. He could of had $1,600,000. Was the big prize in Matthew's case of 23 or was there just a dollar in it after all?

Howie opens the case and America sees that Matthew choice had...

23: $3,000,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MATTHEW HAD THREE MILLION DOLLARS IN HIS CASE!!!! Obviously, with $675,000 still coming his way, Matthew is still very happy with his result! He's definitely not complaining!

To prove it:

19: $1

Peak offer: $1,600,000
Case value: $3,000,000
Prize won: $675,000
Result: Outright Banker Win

It was an FANTASTIC episode of DoND USA and we're only just getting started! Who knows what the rest of the week shall have in store for us and the contestants? Be sure you're here to find out!

And there you have it!

Amazing start to the season!

And hurrah, 11 had the jackpot in game 2, and had 2 other big sums of money. Shame cases 19, 20 and 25 didn't have the jackpot.

Woo, sounds like an exciting start! Three games in one show?? That's crazy.

Thanks a lot for the recaps JR...can I just make one tiny pedantic correction? It's "could have" and "would have", rather than "of". Sorry.

Wow. Just... wow.

Two-hour special I presume?

That's still three games in about 85 minutes of airtime, compared to our one game in 32-ish minutes... and the 26-case games should take longer :S

Ludicrous final two proveout offers though, $800,000 and $1,300,000 would have done the job. I'd have... probably gone when he did, actually. And if you think about it, he took the most money he could possibly have won without entering an all-or-peanuts gamble, so good on him!

And after these games, only case 4 is yet to have a 7 figure sum of money since 18 and 26 had the $1,000,000 tonight.

The reason for the "***SPOILER WARNING!***" is for two reasons:

1: There are some Americans here who might not want to know the result before they watch the show if they had to tape it for a later watching.

2: There could be some Brits who are either downloading or trading with an American and might not want to see the result before they watch it.

Hope that clears it up for you!
