More terrible opening offers. If 38 was significant, why not offer P38,000 or P3,838 or something like that, instead of being an idiot. The P2 was even more stupid. Are they afraid of early dealers or something?

our banker always do that offering small amounts ranging from 1 to 99 pesos in the first offer if the player hit one of the 7 figure amounts.

I find that annoying and out of the game....

I can understand why. It's almost as if he is saying that the first round (or even first 2 rounds) mean nothing.

You go and take over as banker!!

There seems to be a rather large charity/wish-fulfillment element to this version.

The very realistic possibility of losing everything and winning nothing doesn't make this work. It's way too cruel for my tastes.

What they should do is guarantee the amount required to fulfill the requested wish, so the contestant can just worry about making money and being secure that the desired wish is taken care of.

it is common in our version that celebrities will be the contestants playing for either charity or on their own.

I believe in the United States version of deal or no deal celebrity contestants are not considered to play. In kapamilya deal or no deal celebrities mostly attract the ratings of the show.

The commoners who play the game grabs an average attention but it depends on their character/personality. They also receive the low 1st and 2nd offers of the banker. Sometimes the banker make them do something to raise the offer, the bad side is when the offer has been raised it is not to be dealt with because it is only the 4th round or 3rd or more money is available.

In the beginning of the show the 26 models not only walk in but they have a dance number before starting the case selections. I found it over the top but still it's part of the show's originality from other versions.
