Heard this quite a while ago actually and it we haven't seen it yet, but as the recording is now a couple of months ahead of broadcast then it could have been true.

The only way I can see it happening is if someone has just decided they will take any offer in excess of £10,000 and they get a start/offer like Aaron had, or someone just decides to do it for the publicity they would get (which in my opinion would be taking the p*** out of the show and they should not get broadcast). Whichever it is, if it's true at all, I hope they have the £250,000 in their box and the £100,000 left with it at the end!

I think it will happen at some point deffinitly! There will be somebody out there foolish enough to do it (no, before anybody says - it aint me!!)

I think it would either have to be a very disatrous first round or an extreamly good one (like said above, a high offer!)

On an unrelated note!! Let's celebrate my 500th post!! yay!! :smt041

to be honest i dont see why not, you have gone on the show with nothing, and if you walk away with a good offer,, anything over 5k could mean something to some folks,,, then why not take the money and run,,, who is the fool, the person who left playing the game with 1p or the person who just came along and nicked off with the 5k...

i dont know who it is but Sarah once joked once she would. remember when she playing her game, she said something like 'my daughter said I should deal at the first offer', so its not totally unbeleievable if someone did deal at the first offer. If someone had a high opening offer, like Aaron did and anything would be life-changing cash for them, then I would respect them dealing at the first offer. However, if the person had a low opening offer and thought of much more as life-changing money, then I would be very disappointed in them.At the end of the day, if people want publicity they should go on Big Brother. DOND is about people making new friends and making as much money as possible to change their future.

If it is true, who knows, the person could be this week!.

wtf? Says who? We don't know what goes in these people's heads when they're there, and when they're in the chair, we don't even know what goes on really when the cameras stop rolling so who is anyone to say what this show should and shouldn't be about?

when the contestants finish filming on the show and they come on here alot of them seem to say that it was lifechanging for them as they won cash and made so many new friends. the whole point of deal or no deal is to win money we knew that from the start, if it wasn't, people wouldnt be interested in how much people won would they?. secondly, people dont go on the show cause they thought oh yeh might as well do it. they do it cause it looks like fun, they wanna win cash and make new friends.

yea...win cash...and if they accept the first offer that's precisely what they've done, it's up to them what they want to do when they're in the chair

good point but dont you think that if they had an opening offer of say 2 and a half grand and had lots of big red numbers left on the board, it wouldnt be very wise as they could hold off for a bigger offer? if you are getting offered cash, why not try and win as much as possible? before you say enough is enough
