The choices for the show to be aired on the classic slot on Saturday 7th July on Channel 4 are:

Arlette (£21,000, 13th January 2006)
Ingerlise (£15,000, 3rd December 2006)
Swappy Barbara (£1,000, 8th October 2006)
Gill (£11,000, 17th January 2006)

Official voting is available on the C4 website at http://www.channel4.com/money/ontv/deal ... l/poll.jsp

Interesting that two of the options are so close to each other in the form of Arlette and Gill - only 4 days and 3 shows between them! I can't remember much about Arlette and I liked Gill when she was on the wings but can't remember her game. Swappy Barbara's was amazing for the swap, and Ingerlise's was memorable for all the wrong reasons. They feel too recent to me, so I think I'll go for Arlette or Gill and I'll go for Arlette as I can't remember her at all and she gets my intrigue vote.

Definitely don't want to see Ingerlise's again, that was second only to Donna a couple of weeks later in terms of how horrible to watch it was.

Same applies to Swappy Barbara I suppose, but for some reason I'd be quite interested to see that again... but I'd rather see a Jan 06 show, to remind me of those in the wings when I first started watching! I don't think I've ever seen a repeated show from any time between Dave Woollin's and Brenda's. Will have to see which one looks the best...

Haha, if you thought she was ghastly, why would you vote to see her show again? Although I have to admit her swap was stupid in my opinion, but as she said, she had her reasons - which were basically her fingers. Also the fact that she had the, she had blue, she had blue, she had blue, and it was just... just one of... the things, number 15. And it was in her mind, in her mind, in her mind. She wasn't saying it was just... saying it just... it was just... it was her decision? And not forgetting the kids... her kids and everything will... yeah.

Haha, I'm tempted to vote for her now just so we can listen to her end-of-game speech.

Oh and forgive me for being dim, it's classic show 13, NOT 14 - I've edited the post accordingly... it was just 14 was in me mind, in me mind, in me mind... and my fingers typed 14 instead of 13.

Well thats why I wanna see it again =) because she was ghastly and nothing like seeing someone get whats coming to them twice.
she was arrogant too IMO everyone said do not swap never swap "Im gonna swap I know better than all of you" is basically what she was saying. And then the speech as she tries to save herself.

As far as I can remember, Arlette's was the first game i remember seein where the contestant cried, I think she was talking about wanting to see family in Austrailia or somewhere, who she hadn't seen for a long time. I remember a lot of the other contestants were also in tears.....am i right????

I don't think Barbara was ghastly at all. She was loud and bubbly and maybe people thought she was ghastly for that. Also, can you blame her for messing up her end of game speech? After that disaster wouldn't you?

I will, however, be voting for Arlette because all I remember is how much she won!

Also, it's her decision (as she said numerous times). Just because everyone else says no swap doesn't mean you have to listen to them. lots of people told Laura to deal and she didn't and looks what happened!

Oooh, Arlette or Gill, please! Preferably Arlette, but Gill would be good too...I've never seen either of them before. You put me through the agony of having Matt win the last one so please let me have this one, voters...

The end of Swappy Barbara's game is probably one of the best endings ever (in terms of shock/entertainment value) but you can watch it on YouTube! As I have many, many times...

Who is "mark79smith" by the way, who posts all the games on Youtube? Is it someone from here?

As far as I know, they jointly own the site but Kestral now uploads the videos and has been for a few months now.

Just watched the end of Swappy Barbara's game, didn't realise games from that long ago were still on there!

Saw the third comment from the top though:
Quote:
Well played, a fantastic game. I'm glad the offer was £22,000 because it really enticed her into no dealing which is all I want out of this game! Lets face it, this game was more exciting then Johnnies!

If I tell you it wasn't basicasic, I think that's all you need to know... ;)

It has to be Arlette. Didn't like Barbara, too much of a loud mouth to my liking. She definitely wasn't bubbly.

Arlette. I'd like to see plenty of season 1 games that I can't remember as the autumn era is too familiar.
