Today's show was the 35th for Brian, which makes him the 2nd longest-running player ever, taking over from another Brian who did 34 shows in Summer 2008.

The number one spot of course is held by Lucy (early 2006), who did 50 shows.

There seems a lot more men than women on the wings at the moment, feels like the biggest gender imbalance since Battle of the Sexes in 2007!

An inevitable side effect of picking quite a few short runners is that we are also getting quite a few people with a long stay on the wings. Apart from the obvious one (Brian - who I think will probably now break the record), we've had Carol (29 shows), Rickie (29 shows), and now Monz. Wouldn't be surprised to see some more as well, as they do seem to be mixing up the duration players stay a lot more than the original show did - possibly as a consequence of some players needing to go back home/to work.
