Can anyone remember Haleem from the very first week (5th show)? I found it on one of my recordable DVDs lying around somewhere.

Anyways, the deal was made at eight-box at £18,500. The next offer would have been £6,300. But when there was two boxes left, there never was a sixth offer! Haleem's box was just opened straight after (which was £35,000!)

EDIT: Just got told by someone on Messenger that the same thing happened to Dilys the following week! Did it really?!?

I remember watching it at the time and thinking "Oh, they must only do the proveout sixth offer sometimes, then. Shame because it's a good idea". Luckily after Dilys's game it's been done every show since, it'd be so weird if we just had someone deal and then not get an offer at the end, I'm counting 'Swap' as one.

Yep both Haleem and Dilys are the only two contestants that didn't get a final offer. I don't know why, strange.

Also, in Anita's game, at the final two Noel got the offer, then told Shell to open her box straight away instead of opening Anita's first.

If I ever go on the show, I will tell the remaining contestant to open his/her box first, just to be diferent!!! (shame it won't be original but hey!)

In the first game, they made Lynn reach over the table to open her box. It looked really messy and strenuous. Glad they stopped that.

Yeah she could have just gone round like Jane did! Madie was also pretty quick to open his box at the end!

That would only work in proveout though. it would feel weird otherwise!

as for the self box openings, Dave did it himself (and revealed 50p!)

And we'll get to see it on C4 in a couple of weeks now!

Last time I saw it happen properly was with Aaron, and he revealed 50p too!
