The "shortlist" for the daily viewer's competition must be absolutely huge, at least 300,000 I reakon. I've been entering the competition on the net pretty much every day for the past 2 and a half months now. Allways entering the max number of times. Allways tend to get about 3-4 in the shortlist on every single show. Other people I have spoke to also get about the same number in the shortlist each time. When the max entries per show was 50 I was getting about 6-7 in the shortlist each day, on one occasion as many as 11.

Bearing in mind that this is supposed to be the most popular TV viewer competition ever, I'd expect at least 100,000 people are entering each day. So the shortlist is probably at least 300,000!

I tried emailing the show a couple of times at their email address of deal@channel4.com to enquire exactly how big the shortlist is each day. But got an email back from the postmaster saying that there is no such email address!

Also has anyone else noticed that the majority of the people who win the daily viewer competition are from up north? Rarely do you see any Southerners winning.

Now they've made it a lot harder to get ont the shortlist Ireckon its got to be halved and is more like 100,000

It would be interesting to know many people on the forum enter the daily competition and if people do enter it whether they go online, call or both. Also whether people enter it everyday or just every now and then.
