im into deal or no deal in a huge way now! always make sure im at home to watch it with my laptop in front of me!

does anyone else enter the competition through the website? Ive tried to enter it by phone but i only have a mobile and no landline (student!).n ot that it is likely id win but someone out there does. So i thought id ask a few questions.

My Questions are as follows:

1) do you think that those who enter through the web have an equal chance of winning compared to those who enter by phone. like in theory they pay to enter whereas u dont through web entry.

2) Everytime i call through from my mobile it never connects! Just beeps once and goes back to normal. Does this mean i still get charged or does it mean i need a landline to enter?

3) On the terms and conditions it says: "You may enter the competition a maximum of 30 times per day. Channel 4 reserves the right to exclude you from the Competition in the event that Channel 4 believes, at Channel 4’s sole discretion, that you have exceeded the limit of 30 entries per day."

when it says you may enter it 30 times in a day does that mean 30 successful entries? or does it mean when u enters and says your unsuccessful that this counts as one entry???? this question prob makes sense to those who enter it online!!!

4) does 30 times means per household? for example if i had mates round my house could they each enter on my computer if i already have had a successful attempt within a few trys? for example if u attempted it 30 times and got through 5 times and each time it got through was a different friend with different details would this be allowed?

5) My main question is as follows: how strict channel 4 are with the rules of entering the competition online. basically ive been entering details of someone else because id love it for them to win. have no motive to share the money or anything like that. just thought it would be a great suprise if it ever happened. i put all their details on the web so they would be contacted if they win. but would channel 4 have issues with this? i really want to carry on doing this. if u go the terms and conditions they seem really harsh on little things and say stuff like:

- "Channel 4 accepts no responsibility where any call back is not connected to your phone, howsoever caused"
- "If you are unavailable to take up the prize, Channel 4 reserves the right to award the prize to another winner."
- "In the event of any dispute regarding the Competition, the decision of Channel 4 shall be final and binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into with you or any person acting on your behalf"
- "Channel 4 will have sole and absolute discretion as to whether to accept any entry. Channel 4 reserves the right to exclude you from the Competition in the event that Channel 4 believes, at Channel 4’s sole discretion that you may be using technology to gain an unfair advantage over other contestants."

makes them sound a bit mean and harsh! just wondered what you guys think.

I finally got through on Monday for the first time by entering online!!

Took me weeks and weeks to get through, and often tried about ten times each show.

well does that mean if i leave their landline number and they r not home channel 4 would award the prize to another person? i also found this part out oo

"Channel 4 reserves the right to award the prize to another winner if unable to make contact with the winner on the telephone number provided within 20 days of the winning name appearing on-screen during Deal Or No Deal."

would that mean if they are not at home they could still be contacted later?

I get through on the internet about 4 times per show. Try not using the internet in the adverts as it appears to lock up.

For some reason, even though I have broadband, I can never get the web form to load - it just won't work! Anyone else having this problem? I've tried on two different computers in my house as well.

i average 3 a day are you using it the quick method to save time? i didn't get any yesterday

I don't know what I'm doing, I just click on the "Daily competition" button and the toolbar at the bottom says the graphic is loading and it just...doesn't - am I overlooking something obvious here?
