Watched this episode in full recently through the bit torrent download. I didn't see this show at the time it was originally broadcast - think I had only seen DOND once before that - started to watch regularly a couple of weeks later, so there were some familiar faces there on Nick's show like Mumtaz and John "Murray Walker".

Made great viewing despite the outcome, which he took with great spirit, his run of bad luck was quite extraordinary from what looked a reasonable board half way through.

Was surprised to hear Noel use the "entertainment drama" opening phrase which I thought originated much more recently. Also the white labels inside the boxes looked strange after all this time!

I know, don't they just! I watched back some of the old December episodes I've recently put on DVD, and they seem so old!

Hehe, I remember when they first had the blue and red labels inside the boxes, and it looked really wrong - now the white ones look wrong!

I saw this for the first time the other day too, and it was so much happier than Trevor's game! Trevor made me want to cry, whereas I was actually glad Nick got 1p in the end - after all the reds had gone he seemed to really want it. Let's hope the next 1p win is another cheerful one!

I'm sure he wouldn't have been too disappointed to get the £100 at the end either though, after seeing what his last 4 were! But his bit of TV history is probably worth more than £100 would have been.

I want to see the 1p/10p final two come up (preferably after they have dealt for a decent amount) just to see what the Banker would offer! One day no doubt Noel will actually say to someone, "At 4p, Deal or No Deal?"

Interesting how they can be so different really. The unfortunate thing about Trevor's game was the way he personalised it by mentioning a target amount, talking about his brother in Australia etc - then he got no respect from the Banker, and turned down an offer of just below that amount before it all went wrong.

Also he was one box from a life-changing offer, when he had £250k and two blues left, one of the most painfully memorable images from DOND was Marilyn struggling to hold back the tears after she revealed the quarter million. Nick at least had chance to fully take in his misfortune as it unfolded over at least 3 rounds!

Yes, that was horrible. Although it did amuse me when Noel said "Marilyn it's not your fault, it's only opening boxes", when he usually implies that it's the contestants' duty to open low numbers!

All the ones Karen through to Jenna, and some odds ones here and there (Barbara, Aaron, Kirsty, Nancy off the top of my head).

Any way you can make any of them available for download like the Nick one is?

Would like to see a show or two from Jan/Feb again, and some of the early ones I never saw!
