Did anyone who was watching Lynne's game on DOND Classic notice that when the camera went to the audience (I think it was the left side), Gary and Claudine (from December 06) were there?
Do all players watch a few games before moving onto the wings?
I never noticed any future players in the audience before!!

Yep your right ,maybe it's to aclimatise us to the Studio,well spotted!

Welcome A-Cow-says-moo, I have noticed that as well. In Sarah's game (£6,000) and Tom (£33,000), Jo (£31,000) was in the audience and she replaced Tom. It has happened in quite a few games.

Gary, Claudine, Karen Box and Wrighty were all sitting in the audience for Lynne's game.

There have been loads of contestants who have sat in the audience before they made their appearance on the wings. From the top of my head I can think of Marcus and Beryl, who sat in the audience for Brenda's game. I presume the reason they put them in the audience is so they can get a feel of what it's like.

So just think, we could been seening loads of future contestants in the audience at the moment and not even know about it!

Don't they normally sit in roughly the same place?

They always used to sit over nearest the E11 position in 2005-era, but they probably move them around now, so it is not obvious to us that this is where all future contestants will sit.

All players don't get an opportunity to sit in the audience, it depends on when they arrive, I arrived with Pauline, Shahid, Leila, Roy, Kev. We arrived on the Tuesday afternoon when the third show was being recorded, wed morning, Roy went straight on while the rest of us recorded our voice overs, then I went on and the others all got the chance to sit in the audience. I think that would have been great and also interesting to see from another perspective. Pauline was in the audience for about 6 shows before actually going on!!!

I sat in the audience for Colins game (coming soon to a TV set near you) I am right up in the Gods on the left hand side along with 2 other of my fellow 6 that I came with.
