Killer first boxes:
Recently, the opening box always seems to be big. I'll update this to see if the trend continues, but starting with Kev's game last week:

Kev's game: £3 000
Graeme's game: £15 000
Pauline's game: £75 000
James's game: £35 000
Alison's game: £15 000
Shahid's game: £20 000
Paul's game: £5 000
Den's game: £250 0000
PJ's game: 50p
Belinda's game: £100 000
Kirsty's game: £10
Derek's game: £100 000
Jenine's game: £75 000
Savvas's game: £75 000
Lynn's game: £50
Peter's game: £100 000
Jo's game: £750

Parent's Sundays:
Sunday's always seem to be the days for the mummy or daddy figures and more *mature* players. Working our way back from last Sunday's game, there does seem to be a sort of trend with the players:

Sun 20th May: Lynn
Sun 13th May: PJ, daddy
Sun 6th May: Pauline, mummy
Sun 29th April: Kath, mummy
Sun 22th April: Theresa, mummy
Sun 15th April: Penny, sorta mummy
Sun 8th April: David, daddy
Sun 1st April: Joe, sorta daddy
Sun 25th March: Geoff, sorta daddy
Sun 18th March: Betty, mummy
Sun 11th March: Sarah M, sorta mummy
Sun 4th March: Brian, sorta daddy
Sun 25th February: Kay, mummy

Two trends that have become very noticeable lately. How long will both continue? I am especially surprised about the Sunday one...

I noticed this a while back and it doesn't really surprise me - I think they used to put the characters on for the Saturday shows for good, lively Saturday entertainment (Marcus' games and Sam's games are good examples) and now they put the older players on the Sunday to fit in with the traditional feel of Sundays - quiet, calm and relaxing - which applies to most of the older players (although not all!).

Add PJ's game to that.

He appeared to be the daddy.

Another bad first box today in Belinda's game, and indeed, daddy PJ played yesterday's Sunday game.
