Got me thinking what other things the banker has done to make you annoyed or not enjoy the show (Recent or old)

45k offer for Laura
The Money offered to Andrew while Richard was playing
The 3 swaps in a row the day after the 250k was won by Laura

Anyone add anymore?

The whole "Rich won't play until he guesses an amount right" thing. Thankfully he did it fairly quickly but if he'd gone for ages and kept getting it wrong it would have become the most tedious thing ever.

The offer going down for Garvan after keeping the £250k into the five-box point
Geordie's ludicrous run of offers (apart from the £5k)
Too many tricks with Ned, though each one was not that bad
Every single AMO
Claiming Dennis's AMO rejection was the first
Mally getting no difficult decisions whatsoever
A bunch of stupidly generous offers in January and February (though they were frequently rejected, so...)
Inflated proveout offers designed to make players follow the distorted Noel drumbeat

Yeah that beeped me off at the time. I reckon they should always offer about 9k/10k in that situation -. There have been some stupid variances with all or nothing £100k final fives.

But Christine actually took it! Which means that, in terms of the Banker wanting to save money, it was a pretty brilliant offer...

Inflated Proveout offers annoy me. Everything else is still ok, though I wouldn't want to see anything like PJ's game again.

Yeah fair enough, the banker was quite good at reading contestants back then.

I was going to start this topic myself at some stage actually! Of the ones not mentioned already:

The Trevor offer - £9,900 on a £250,000-and-blues final five. We all remember the outcome of that one.

The Kelsie mind games - Making an insulting offer on a strong board, then ringing up with a slightly less insulting one to make her believe he was being generous. The fact she said she would have accepted the first one doesn't make the tactics any less unpleasant!

The Money offered to Andrew while Richard was playing was really really horrible. The lame "and a cheque made out to whoever you wish" as part of the deal was equally yuck.

I thought the PJ thing was ludicrous too, although I'm obviosly relieved for PJ himself.

The Banker bumming Monica even though she was nothing special.
Kelsie's ridiculous offer, and him calling back every few seconds.
Rachel getting 12p as a second offer - fair enough, £12 as a joke...but 12p is too far.
The Banker getting angry for no reason.

I don't really mind what he does at the first and second offers. Nobody ever deals them anyway, so there's not much to complain about. Swap and joke offers at the "business end" of the game are a different matter though, players should be able to expect fair and testing offers. Although if a player is really insistent that they're going all the way or will reject any offer, I can't really argue if the Banker calls their bluff. I don't think that applied to PJ though.

Hmm I agree with that actually...it's annoying when he just randomly says "Oooh I'm scared of you" to a really dull player and then gives them a load of generous offers. Geordie Helen was another one.

Yeah she had the same board as swappy Barbara but she was only offered 5K compared with 16K! Terminator Jayne was also given really high offers for a crap board because the banker was worried.
